What are you talking about ? He’s been nominated for an Oscar 6 times, has directed and written some incredibly well-regarded films and given amazing performances. He’s been around Hollywood for 60 years and has always had a rep for being a hard working perfectionist.

You really have to watch a bunch of his early movies to appreciate it. He wasn’t just hot, he had this amazingly charming/disarming manner about him that caused panties to fly into orbit. He didn’t come across like a player at all. That clip from Shampoo gives you an idea, but really only scratches the surface.

Yeah, I’ve only seen him old but daaayyyum. He was hot. Probably better looking than many of the dude stars out there today.
