Those Republicans who hate Trump and (falsely) claim to want a more “decent” person to vote for can always vote for whatever platypus the libertarian party puts up. But, they don’t, they still fall in line and vote Republican because they understand what’s at stake.

This is why, the older I’ve gotten, the more I try to avoid confrontational situations with strangers. Even when what the other person does couldn’t be more inappropriate and assholish.

It feels more catty and bitchy than anything else. Trump deserves a much more biting satire. Baldwin is incredibly talented and funny and remained so for a long time, but he’s also a known asshole. His pokes at Trump fall a little flat because there’s just too much similarity in Trump and Baldwin’s vanities and egos.
