Guns give a false sense of security that you can be the action hero of your own movie. Guys like that are almost always cowards who hide behind guns as a way of (poorly) dealing with fear and anxiety.

As if a single bullet to the brain, no matter how many guns you own, won’t put you down like everyone else.

I hope this guy blows his nuts off while fucking around with his collection of murder-toys, removing himself from the gene pool. And then I hope the paramedic who shows up and saves him from bleeding out is black.

“racist and proud” is so depressing because in the past it used to be a bad thing to be racist. Now, after certain events the past few years, closeted racists are coming out all proud about it. He’s the first I’ve seen to say it so bluntly, but definitely noticed the attitude from those who, when accused of being

his career as a fortnite pro, maybe?

i was literally thinking of mentioning the texas shooting in a possible update cause like my god THIS VIDEO is why “mass casualty events” keep happening

so his career is over now right

For anyone that says this type of behavior is fine, he’s not threatening anyone, blah blah, remember what happened in Buffalo and what just happened in Texas today. This kind of obsession with guns is not healthy and it just takes one spark to turn someone violent, and people with guns tend to be violent with their

Gene Wolfe used to bristle at critics who said his work wasn’t sci-fi because it didn’t always contain spaceships or aliens or advanced computers. To which he would reply (and I’m paraphrasing) “that was your future 30 years ago. I’m writing about the future of now.”

“If Hearthstone and other TCG/CCGs are addictive, perhaps Target should start carding people who want to buy Yu-Gi-Oh booster packs?”

Capitalist society is hellscape enough for us adults, with every little damn facet of daily existence carrying a price. The commenters arguing that kids can (and should) be expected to learn about debt the hard way lack empathy and understanding that kids lack the developmental capacity to “buyer beware.”

They still watch broadcast more than cable, outside of sports and Yellowstone.

There is nothing, NOTHING in a videogame that can prepare you for that level of force and power.

But again, other countries have social media and cell phones and don’t have this problem…but they don’t have the gun culture we do.

I fire real guns semi-regularly and videogame guns extremely regularly...

There is nothing, NOTHING in a videogame that can prepare you for that level of force and power.

Nothing can prepare you for the first time a round gets jammed, and for half a second you feel like you’re holding a timebomb.

and besides that, I’ve

While Zapor wasn’t as eager to relitigate the video game controversies of the 1990s, his response wasn’t necessarily more coherent: “I think in terms of causation, what the information shows us is as we become more disfranchised as individuals, and groups, people leave a faith for example, the family units become

Gun control is great. It works in every country in the world that has it at a national level. The problem in America is a state with weak gun laws floods the market of neighboring states.

They’ll tell you that it’s really about mental health...

Coming from a country with strong gun control (Australia), I have to disagree with some of this. The “criminals will get guns whether they’re illegal or not” argument may be true, but strong gun control reduces the availability of guns, the culture of acceptability around guns, and the immediate response of the

What would it take? For us to reduce the Republican party to complete irrelevance. To flip more than 3/4 of states Democrat, and for Democrats to actually do what we put them in office for.
