Exactly, my problem is that, currently, buying an NFT is like shouting “this is mine” into the void, but you aren’t holding an corporeal object, what you “bought” isn’t limited to your item, you gain no effective, tangible benefit owning it compared to someone that doesn’t.  It’s like digital sales of a game, there’s

No, it’s obvious that NFT bros continue to chalk all criticism up to misunderstanding. We get that you’re not buying art, you’re buying a receipt. There’s no value in that transaction no matter how scarce or secure you make the token, trading (or showing off) irrefutable proof that someone paid $1000 for a shitty

there is a good chance that NFTs will be as respected and trusted as cryptocurrency is in general

I hope he chokes on his filet mignon depression dinner, because even all the money in the world can’t buy back a good name.

Let him have his gold, and get him out of our collective sight. Shitcan him.

This fucking guy.

This sounds kind of like the Apex Legends system, but done badly. Apex switched over to a model of easier to complete daily challenges that you can usually knock out in a match or two, and a series of meatier weekly challenges.

*Sigh*, and they continue to just let this game drift in the endless ether....

Upgrade to a PC.”

I actually make it a point not to fiddle with the tuning in the Horizon games: there are so many cars, but if you wind up tuning everything to the top of its class, they’re all going to wind up driving... relatively similarly, really. It helps the different cars feel different, I think, if you don’t autotune (bu-DUM)

I always say, horizon is not a "racing game," it's a driving game. There is a difference. You really don't need to race to have fun. But when FH2 came out I loved it, told so many friends and they all said..."but I don't really like racing games..." One by one they all pumped 80 hours into it.

Every time I experience the opening of a Horizon game, I realize I’m about to sink over 100 hours into yet another car game, but only Horizon gets me from that miniature existential crisis in a world full of larger ones and into a flow state within 5 minutes that makes me check my phone 4 hours later realizing it’s

Have fun!

$20/hr is also more than my wife makes at a full time salaried job that required a college education. I really, honestly, see no issue with dropping out of college to make $20/hr. Not being saddled with, what is that, $136,000 for a 4 year college degree will put him ahead of a lot of people real fast.

Republicans really seem to get bent out of shape when people have fun.

I can’t disagree with this statement by Hawley, and I can only hope that the January 6th Commission will hold Hawley responsible for his seditious behavior that furthered an attempt to overthrow the United States government.

I feel like the really important takeaway from this quote....is how fucking empty these states are and how insane it is that they get so much fucking representation.

“Still, can we be surprised that after years of being told they are the problem, that their manhood is the problem, more and more men are withdrawing into the enclave of idleness, and pornography, and video games?”

Because the police are not charged with, or trained for, the prevention of crime, only the collection of criminals and fines. We like to compare today’s cops to colonial slavecatchers, but they actually have a lot more in common with medieval Sheriffs; minor landed gentry who do all the trash work the actual nobility

Welcome to white male America, they are always given the benefit of a doubt.

Because cops are absolutely fucking useless in being proactive in domestic situations like this.  It’s not specific to this situation.
