Sleeping Dogs. Somehow did so poorly that even a (at the time) next-gen remaster couldn’t save developer United Front games from going under. Perhaps because a lot of people wrote it off as just another GTA clone. And yet, I thought it was easily one of my favorite games of the generation, far surpassing GTA. I

Sleeping Dogs. It got really good reviews but I don't know many people who played it. So many called it a knock off GTA game but it was so much more. The characters and story were really well written and the gameplay was phenomenal.  I really wish it had gotten a sequel.

I think action-based mech combat needs to come back. Armored Core was great, but with From now completely focused on Souls-like...... Not sure if there has Been a good action Gundam game in a while. I need to give Daemon X Machina a try.

I’ve got two that come to mind. First is Critical Depth (PS1). A vehicular combat game made by SingleTrac (of Twisted Metal fame) after they were purchased by GT Interactive. The game is fantastic and one of my favorite games of all time. Adding the third dimension to the combat (e.g. a lot of verticality compared

Mad Max - on the surface, just another open-world game that ripped off the Arkham series’ combat, which is fair.

First of all, John W., Mass Effect: Andromeda was EXCELLENT and, had they actually finished the game, it could have been the best in the series. Fully patched it’s one of my favorite games.

I mean, sure, incels could bitch about this. Or - OR - they could go outside and take baby steps toward self improvement and development of actual character.

They *won’t*, mind you,  but they *could*.

Really? Ewe!

Steam has no obligation to be wildly consistent with their content except to the market. If the victims of being inconsistent are largely just pieces of shit like this, nobody will care nor arguably should care. Unless you think this is some kind of slippery slope to something important. I don’t see it.

I can’t believe how many Twitter responses there are that are mad about this. Seems like incels are the target market here? I guess it shouldn’t actually surprise me.

And nothing of value was lost

I’m seeing more and more green and brown on new cars and I am 100% here for that shit.

It’s always been kind of obvious that devs have put less and less effort into compressing or organizing data into a more efficient way and honestly I can’t even really blame the dev teams. It’s the management as always who set unrealistic deadlines and goals and pressure employees into dangerous crunch in order to

That’s a very dangerous line of thought. Group punishment is, without exception, never acceptable. Now in this case the consequence for the rest of the team was unavoidable, and that falls squarely on “Wrigley’s” fault. What he did there should absolutely be no tolerance for.

Are you paying money for a random chance at getting something you want? That’s a lootbox, end of story.

Very bad take.

Any multiplayer game I play is one where I play single-player with other people who happen to be there.

I’m glad to see this! Even if their efforts don’t lead to any change in this specific instance, it’s something that needs to be done more. I’ve had to stop watching a lot of anime series, even generally acclaimed ones, because a few episodes in there are scenes sexualizing characters that are children.
