Add Mellie Grant from Scandal, which is when I stopped watching the show. (In fairness, it was already starting to suck.) And that’s just TELEVISION.

Don’t forget Joan from Mad Men! (Seriously though, I’m just watching season 4 of Downton now and the Anna storyline is infuriating. My husband gets an ear full during each Bates-centric episode.)

I do love to watch Kim and the Klan make Bruce’s transition ALLLLL about them.

Top of the Lake destroyed me. I don’t want to discuss it here, but yes, every word you said. And as you said, off the top of our heads. Argh.

This. This every so fucking much. And hiding behind the ‘it was like that in blah blah blah time or place’ does not fucking excuse it.

You know I was always a HUGE TV watcher. My ex tried to not tell me we could have DVR when I got back from Iraq because I already watched so much of the tube. But lately? I feel like it’s “prestige TV" which gets more and more depressing with each season or crap comedies on CBS. I currently have no shows that I follow

Kinja is a hell of a drug.

To the dudes arguing that the rape scene was awesome: There’s not a woman on the planet who agrees with you. So shut up.

Because women are fucking sick and tired of having the scant few female lead characters in every fucking dramatic movie, in every fucking serious/dramatic tv show be raped. The male execs in Hollywood and NYC have some sick fucking misogynistic boner for rape and we’re exhausted — Daenerys, Cersei, Sansa; Mad Men’s

That is actually true. Last week, a woman wrote something on the internet. And Freddie DeBoer got very angry and yelled at a different woman. Because all women look and sound alike.

I think it was CinemaSins that labeled it “soft-core porn with 100 hours of back-story.” I figured that out after one episode, haven’t gone back since.

I’ve been out on this show since the Lannister sibling-rape scene last season, and it’s comforting in some twisted way to know that I haven’t...umm...missed anything.

I don’t even want to see a rape scene in pornography. It’s got no place in television for civilised people.

I’m going to continue to not watch this show.

That marks the fourth Broncos player to die before his 26th birthday in the last eight years.

I don’t care that TMZ gets stuff wrong, which they frequently do. What makes me mad is that they NEVER own up to their errors. Never a disclaimer, never an update, never an acknowledgement that a mistake was made. They just delete it and move on.

It's like they say at TMZ, police reports all look alike.

Why would an ad salesman be D.B. Cooper?

But why would it matter if he did become Cooper but you had nothing invested in the series? I like doughnuts but I’m not going to dive into an episode of Vampire Diaries just because they might pick up a few bearclaws.

Guy walks into a bar at 1:55am as the lights are getting turned on and drunk people are filing out.

This should really be titled, “What if Bill Simmons never watched Mad Men then watched the Season finale and did a running diary?”
