I’ve got experience similar to yours, ScooterRoo, but I also rebuilt many street engines. I think the issue here is the old sealant being disturbed but not cleaned up and removed. I don’t know how many Japanese engines you’ve had apart, but I have done many and the sealant used is quite tough and could easily plug up

No surprise, don’t both Trump and oriental women have small hands?

Wrong. Rpm is exactly what is not needed for a cold engine. A slight load warms the coolant which in turn warms the engine. Warming cold oil by friction causes undue wear.

Modern oils are much thinner at lower temperatures. Also the initial high idle found in newer cars is to help the cat get hot and do its thing.

No they aren’t. They can or will burn down the car if short happens.

An attendant put diesel in my mother’s gas powered car, a Chevy Nova-on the CT turnpike. She got down the road a mile or so. They tried to charge her for towing the car back to the station, this after waiting about 2 hrs for the truck.

The alternator is connected directly to the battery in many cars, without a fuse. A fire could start easily if that wire touches a hot exhaust manifold.

C’mon, the tracks are not being set on fire. Fires are being set to warm the tracks-the tracks are not burning.

The short range of this vehicle isn’t due to the small gas tank-there is no radiator; just a large tank of water behind the driver.

IIRC Gatorade did provide some level of sponsorship to the car driven by the American drivers. Both cars had engine problems from lack of proper intake air filtration. Another issue was lack of protection for the headlights. Daytona is a very dirty track with lots of sand and clam shells dropped by seagulls.

For many years there was no chicane on the back straight. Cars really got moving. Top speed for the pole sitter was 302 kM/hr. before the chicane top speed was ~350 kM/hr

I was part of the Mazda factory team all the way back in 1978. Mazda sent 2 RX-3s over and they were poorly prepared for a 24 hr race at Daytona. One car finished-25th I think. The next year Mazda sent over a trio of RX-7s. Again I was part of the team. 2 were entered in the GTU class and finished 5 & 6 overall. Mazda

Mazda didn’t do anything any other winning team didn’t do as far flapping out the dollars. Racing at this level is very expensive.

Finally someone puts up an older Alfa dash. This particular dash has a replacement tach with no oil pressure gauge, which is situated at 7-5 o’clock on the stock tach.

There are no digital speedos done right.

Clearly you didn’t understand what you read. The Constitution defines the g’ment and limits it’s powers. It does not pertain to other entities.

Those rights are protected from g’ment infringement. They are not protected from infringement by Universities.

There’s a lot more to the Trump disaster than pick up trucks.

The chance of fire is much less if you take the matches away from the kids.

Took it? Nope, Trump gave it to you.
