Only one business in my community closed down for the event and it is the best Mexican restaurant in town. Someone posted on their Facebook page “I guess I’ll just go to Taco Bell instead.” and the restaurant just responded with a puking emoji. It was beautiful.

I’ve been dying for someone to ask me this, as I’ve been suicidal for years and have the somewhat unique capability of honestly saying, “No, I would really prefer to have been aborted, that would have saved me an awful lot of trouble.” I always wondered how someone who is so attached to the idea of life being the

**Swimming sloth alert!!!**

She did though. She had two before her third pregnancy that the suit was based on. So much later, after her own two abortions and an adoption, and after she can no longer get pregnant, she became anti-choice. WHAT. AN. ASSHOLE!

Funny thing...my family (who are all born again Christians) have the tact NEVER to say this to me. “Corgis, aren’t you glad you’re here with us and not dead in a dumpster?”

I was trying to put into words what bothered me so much about this whole story, and there it is.

So she’s basically the face of “the only moral abortion is my abortion?

YES.

Exactly! It says, A MAN OWNS THIS. It’s bullshit. The whole fucking thing is bullshit.

I don’t mind the upsell for brows and upper lip. I am offended at an upsell like let me cut your labia.

On one hand, women own their own bodies and have a right to modify it to their liking.

I can’t help but think about trends in eyebrows right now. Women used to pluck them into oblivion. Now they are drawing them back in, tattooing them back on, and all of the things to have thicker more shapely eyebrows. And that’s relatively simple, if not weird to me.

How are we all equally responsible? Surely the people who worked to make him president share more responsibility than those who worked to keep him from being president. The people who currently support him are more responsible than the ones protesting against him. It’s not that none of us are any better than Nazi

The reason people take this worldview is that it makes it easier for them to live with themselves.
We’re all tiptoeing around an obvious, depressing truth: most people are bad. Selfish. Cruel. Evil. Just rotten at the core. When circumstances allow them to express that fundamental awfulness, they do it.

Every. Single. Case. of. Unwanted. Pregnancy. Involved. Sperm.

I ordered a copy of The Handmaid’s Tale last week. Got it in the mail on Saturday. Finished it last night. I couldn’t put it down. Instead, I put it on my summer syllabus. All these young adults are going to get a big dose of the real world according to Thundercats this summer.

Seriously, everyone should buy patagonia. They’re amazing. They host events for local environmental groups, produce and screen documentaries on environmental issues, and pay to defend employees arrested in environmental protest. Among a zillion other wonderful things they do.

I’ve cut off my own mother out of my life. Not because she’s a Trump supporter (I’m very certain she’s not) but because she’s an awful human being and a clinical narcissist who will never change. But, if I can cut off the woman whose womb I came out of because she’s the worst, I have no problem doing that with anyone

Oh yeah. I spend less and less time there, my main focus is twitter for the most part.

Completely agreed on that front. I hate nothing more than when someone thinks I’m being over sensitive for unfriending people over political disagreements. Literally 100% of the time i do it it’s because I found out the hard way that the offender is a horrible person.
