I know, and the arguments for and against the DH are tired. I personally like that we have 2 systems and there are a TON of people in NL cities and fans of NL teams that would flip out if the DH was added into their game.

Also, every human’s life is better because Bartolo Colon hit a home run. Its science.

But yeah, on non special teams plays should be the caveat but you get me point. To counter the offense the defense has to have the freedom to be in the best position given what the offense is showing them. If not, there will be glaring holes that the offense can exploit over and over.
