That is true but also the host family were the ones who were also standing with her 3 feet away from Bison. It seems like she was one that was following what they were doing and she probably had no idea that you were not supposed to turn your back.

They did state that she was a exchange student from Taiwan so I don’t know how great her English is, but she was with a host family who should have made sure that she doesn’t go near it, or they did explain everything and she did not listen or care. She is lucky that she is alive.
