The fundamental problem was that, as a basis of a tv show, they chose to tackle something that not only didn’t have a narrative but also didn’t lend itself to inspiring one, either.

Without actually paying the content creators, no content is created at all. Your favorite productions do not exist in countries that do not respect copyright law.
