The idea that the only thing that matters is how she stacks up against men does delegitimize her accomplishments. She should be compared to who she plays against. And that is the fault of the interviewer as much as McEnroe.
Yes, I do. It’s a dumb discussion.
Regardless of whether McEnroe is right or not, it’s just a stupid discussion. There’s no point to it. They’re separate sports, and I think it’s dumb to delegitimize Serena’s (or anyone’s) accomplishments with these sorts of comparisons.
There wouldn’t be much forcing with Melee and Smash 4. They get 1500+ entrants at EVO and run their own 2000+ entrant grassroots tournaments. They have a fanbase and a playerbase. They don’t have any corporate support. It wouldn’t surprise me if the math works out to make it not profitable from Nintendo’s perspective,…
Meh. Not fun to watch, but I can’t hate on the guy for doing what he needed to in order to win. This situation is relatively uncommon in Melee.
I think you’re overstating the advantages of his controller.
Easier said than done. Gamecube Controllers vary from batch to batch, so while they look identical, some will be better than others in certain respects that are important to gameplay. Testing every competitor’s controller is not feasible in any way.
I am kind of surprised Shahid Khan also donated $1M to Trump.
Outdated in what sense? The mechanics of the game are far more deep than either of its successors.
I think the Raptors are more fun than you give them credit for. Lowry isn’t nearly as much of a foul-drawing bore as you indicate. He’s also probably only behind Curry and Lillard in terms of his pull-up 3 point shooting. Also, watching the Raps means you get to watch one of the best crowds in the league, including…
What makes you so confident? Honest question. His tweet reads to me as a joke, personally.
Sturridge is a really sad case. His per minute scoring rate was up with the best in the world, but injuries have basically decimated his career.
Regarding point 3, he’s Canadian. So he’s converting to CAD.
This is the most circlejerky article I’ve seen here. My god.
Calling Sharapova second rate seems kinda harsh. It’s like calling Clyde Drexler second rate because he’s not Jordan.
