Bad comedies in general are agony to sit through. I'd rather watch something amusingly bad like the 2017 Mummy then a really bad Adam Sandler comedy.

Brave isn’t a perfect movie by any means, but if you don’t laugh at the scene where Fergus imitates Merida, you’re not human.

Brave to me was better than its marketing. If that had been marketed as the mother/daughter story it was and not a princess getting betrothed movie they sold it as, it probably would have performed better. 

I like Cars 3 more than the original, honestly. They’re both okay, but Cars 3 is less sappy, its opening song is even more cheesily stupid (and thus more appropriate), and I’ll take Cruz Ramirez over Mater.

You realize Cars was followed immediately followed by Ratatouille, WALL-E, Up and Toy Story 3, yes?

I just can’t get over the uninspired design and art. Even if the reviews had been Pixar-original level high, it would still take a lot to get over how ... mundane everything looks, and not in the way they intended. 

Does Cars 2 make Cars 3 look like Cars 1?

I’ve never quite understood the assumption that “Brave” is somehow one of the bad ones. I still rank it very highly...always have.

...but it always gets slagged off when people talk about Pixar.
