My needs are pretty simple. I’ve got the AP1 S2000 I’ve wanted since seeing the concept in ‘96, and the BMW S1000RR I’ve wanted since a VIR press event I was invited to... now I want a Motus MST-R. Then I’m happy and my wife will be happy because I’ll finally shut the hell up.

 Omfg... really, bro?

Maybe... just maybe... it’s all a ruse to get Honda to bring the Honda E to US dealerships.

Aw. No honorable mention for the “Halo: Fanboy” parody?  I'd post the link here but the video contains a competitor's watermark.

F'kin COTD right there!

Pre-orders went live at major outlets last night at midnight and were showing "Sold Out" by about 12:30-1:00.

The style says "$33k MSRP" but the spec sheet says "Starting at $49k".  Nah, I'll be keeping the AP1 S2000.

What does it matter? I consider myself Republican and I own the same t-shirt and wear it in public. Proudly.

See?  I said so.  This wouldn't have happened if they'd just changed the name to "Sturgis Motorcycle Protest".

I’m having the exact same impression, but I’m absolutely loving the ride. It’s the first game I’ve played where the results of my decisions are completely unexpected and entirely out of my control, like most decisions should be.

Grow up.  People are going to have opinions different than yours.  Go rearrange you #MAGA collection.

Welcome to Jalopnik; one of the only car sites that openly brands itself as progressive (stunning) and left-leaning (and so brave!). It’s been going this way ever since Gawker Media burned down and Doug left. Every article here is somehow an article about race, politics, or sexual orientation.

It's a little different for civil servants.  You can request orders up to a year out; you might not get them but you can start the request process.  I'll keep an eye out for this one.

Hopefully not via Gov't PCS...

Well, yeah. But as the seller, would you care? If you owned this car and someone offered you $12,500, would you say “Nah, but I’ll take $10,000"? The fact that it sold for what he listed it for proves it’s worth $12,500 regardless of what value other people put on it, don't you think?

It's genuinely not.  I know the car and the seller.  Everything was done pretty meticulously and the "cruise control delete" is an inside joke from an S2K FB page.  Car sold for asking price regardless though.

Didn’t local media eventually report that nobody was hit, injured, or dragged?. I'm not trying to justify the driver's actions but I do feel a little happier knowing nobody was hurt, if that's true?

I'm not speaking from personal opinion, I'm speaking from personal experience.  I was labeled the "assailant" in court for stabbing a tire when a car drove through a protest.

They already do, and I have a rather large group of former-friends now.

I'd rather push a Focus RS than get another Golf R.  I had one with less than 30k miles eat the bearings on the #4 cylinder and I still had to fight both corporate and the dealer to honor their warranty agreement.  I couldn't get rid of it fast enough.
