Suggesting Coulson is alive would be a ‘fuck you’ to anyone who does not watch Agents of Shield but loves the movies, as at no point does it say why, how or when he came back to life. I could not give two shits if Agents of Shield got cancelled as it is dire in comparison to the movies.

To blend a TV show in with a Cinematic Universe would be shit. You’d be forcing every single person who watches the films to watch what is effectively a low-budget poorly-acted spin off by comparison.
