Yup you cracked the code! Most Jeeps never leave the dirt. What you fail to realize is that all the “soccer mom” buyers and other derogatory descriptions you have help make it better for the 5% of us that like to play in the dirt.

Point?

Sure...I’ll stick to cars from now on. People apparently get too butthurt around consumer tech.

I happen to have first hand knowledge of this topic. I called out a ridiculous statement and a poor understanding/comprehension of two articles. Call that what you want. I could give two shits if it’s “cool”.

Look I could care less what brand of smart phone people use. The confusion of facts with people’s conspiracy theories (with no basis in fact) is the problem. I have zero brand loyalty in this other than I have to deal with stupid conjecture on a regular bassis.

Try reading the damn article that you cite for chrissakes. The slowdowns are tied mAH capacity of the battery. When the battery is replaced, they are not throttled. It has nothing to do with age of the phone, just how much wear there is on the battery.

I’m not defending anyone. But it is bullshit and I hav much more experience than these people reading just these headlines. FYI: 8 year old MacBook Pro running mostly windows 7 and an iPhone SE. So the image in your mind doesn’t reflect reality.

Wait, you mean this isn’t a cross-post from the Onion? OMFG, I’d rather walk.

You’re right, I am adorable, thank you for noticing. I’m also right.

horseshit:

The front driving lights under glass (plastic?) sold me. That and the pop up headlights, and the curves, and the impossibly thin sections of the fenders above the wheels....I’ll be in my room.

aww, I’m a 1977 model :(

While I see your point (especially with kids) that’s not really camping. But glad you are getting out there. It does provide motivation for me to explore more fire roads to get away from the RV parks.

I had a physics teacher in the early 90's that had one of these. He would have been blocking traffic with Missouri plates.

But excellent torque. That engine is a little under appreciated. Besides, you wouldn’t have a 383 stroker were it not for the 400 donating its crank.

(Ahem, uh, the 400 was a small block. I hate to be pedantic, but this is kinda a car site. Plus, carbs are awful in the mountains.)

Any defense of those fuckers was lost when they showed up at the protests with Nazi flags.

“Well, it is the right’s fault that the right has decided all forms of patriotism are good.”

It is something that I care about on many levels. I care about individual rights and I care about old cars. But ultimately I care about water quality more, and that’s where this is a real problem. It comes down to personal freedom requiring personal responsibility which does not equate to “do anything you damn well

Because legal proceedings like this take forever. Kind of like a foreclosure.
