I enjoyed the episode, but since it seems like next week's episode (based upon the preview up on Hulu, which shows Mindy trying to work and use Annette for childcare) may be mostly Mindy with Danny still away, I'm surprised they didn't just do a 2-parter with Mindy's portion as the B-plot. Imagine how cool is would

This explains so much.

Well, nobody does that (I eat breakfast out about one day in seven, lunch out about three days in seven, and dinner out about two days in seven), but you're acting like purchasing an Egg McMuffin for $2.75 is this HUGE extravagance and you can't imagine why anyone might possibly spend the $2.75 rather than go home,

(Shrug). Obviously, you hate eating out. It's just a little odd to be that interested in articles about eating out.

Yes, but obviously there are other intangible reasons why people eat out. They don't feel like packing a lunch and bringing it with them like an 8-year-old. They like the atmosphere of a restaurant better than their kitchen with the kids running around, the neighbor's dog barking, and the ice maker making that weird

This can be said of eating out in general. Why do we even have restaurants when people could just cook food at home and save money? McDonald's is hardly the most expensive option. Imagine how much money one could save by making a steak.

Can't help you with the English muffin. Their bagel sandwiches are good, but they don't have them in all locations. For some weird reason, the Egg White Delight McMuffin is far better than the traditional Egg McMuffin. For some reason, the poached egg whites aren't rubbery like the whole eggs.

This must be your particular McDonalds. I always get a hamburger. However, I did have a friend who, when they offered your meal free if it wasn't ready in a certain time, used to order a Quarter Pounder with no cheese because it always took longer.

Diners usually have huge menus and slow service, which you accept because a diner is a hangout place. The point of fast food is to have a limited menu so you can get food fast. And most Dunkin Donuts fail spectacularly at this once eggs are added to the equation. If you order anything other than a donut or coffee

Yeah, number of comments isn't really a good way to gauge ratings. I assumed the first person to point it out (below) was doing so because s/he was annoyed at having to pay for Hulu! The thing about streaming shows is that they stream and you can watch them whenever.

Watched this one at midnight, but usually, first thing in the morning. It's the #1 episode on Hulu right now, so someone is watching. I agree it's been more even this season so far. Oh, and I hope Eliza Coupe is staying a while.

Doling out. A few weeks ago, they were offering a free month instead of a free week. Not sure if they still are. Difficult People is a love it or hate it proposition (I like it, but I've seen a lot of REALLY hostile reactions, and I myself had to watch three episodes before I decided). If you liked Seinfeld, you MIGHT

Agreed. I found it strange that vain Mindy would want surgery that would leave her with a scar. I can actually see being more scared of an epidural, which is a NEEDLE inserted into one's SPINE and not without risks, though rare. But there are drugs that numb the pain to a degree that mom can sleep between

I'm going to guess they were trying to appeal to a younger demographic, the coveted 18-49, and, hence, the order 1) Young, single son 2) Young married couple 3) middle-aged married couple 4) Old folks. They wanted it to look more like How I Met Your Mother and less like The Middle or Parenthood (and it did sort of

He's also on Veep.

I thought it was that the sun was coming out. It rained nonstop through both this episode and the season finale. In the end, it was sunny and the rain was dripping off stuff.

I think I read that there was some deal like that. They're all back in the preview for episode 2 that's up on Hulu now. Guess it would have been hard to fit them in. I always miss Beverly when she's gone.

Yeah, he lost weight last year too for his movie with Tina Fey, and he gained it all back. Should have old Morgan back shortly. I weirdly find chubbier Ike cuter.

Depending how many you want to watch, I'd say the first 2 (1 because, as someone below said, Danny stripping — hello? and 2 because it introduces Danny's mother), episode 8, Diary of a Mad Indian Woman, Episode 15, Dinner at the Castellanos, and episode 21, Best Man. If you want a richer experience, add in the two

House's Head/Wilson's Heart and Everybody Dies were some of the best. Generally, I looked forward to the season finales. But one internal episode I liked a lot was The Dig, 7.18, which showed what Olivia Wilde was capable of as well as the show.
