I grew up in Brevard County, Florida (home of Cape Canaveral, Kennedy Space Center, etc.).

During my college years in the late '80's and early 90's, I returned home for the summers and had a decent gig installing and uninstalling office furniture.

Some of our clients were NASA-related, including some of the "space

It's hard to think of Aliens, having premiered in the 80's, without thinking of Burke as the ultimate "collar popper."

This remains the best version of the Watchmen. I look forward to its sequel.

Having seen this as a child, I still have a soft spot for the Coz playing the devil.
(There's a vision of him in Hell that still freaks me out.)

"This is a Unix system. I know this..."

Ya know...Young Justice was very dark. And, although it focused on the Teen Titans, it included the Justice League. (Just Saying.)

Almost Human. It will be some time until I stop having a soft spot for this- yet again- cancelled Fox show.

The moment it hooked me: John Kennex throws his MX-43 from his moving squad car where it tumbles and is immediately run over by a truck.

I think my facetiousness was lost on some.

Uh...yeah...er hurm...

I feel the same way about Planet of the Apes. This movie is terrible because, per your last paragraph, its logical conclusion, all apes should be sterilized before their Rise, Dawn and/or Conquest.

Sheesh.

Caring and sharing is not instinctual. Selfishness is an innate survival instinct that we all wrestle with every day.

Knowing this is the easy part. How you deal with it is the nature of your character.

Just don't be surprised when you or anybody else recognizes "opportunity" and takes advantage of it.

Along your lines, I'm fairly sick of the entire galaxy swinging around Tatooine. With all the opportunities provided by interstellar travel, a lot ends up happening there.

Thanks for catching that. As a hardcore fan of the films, especially For a Few Dollars More, I was highly annoyed by that image being positioned for The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.

(Didn't watch the video, but your reply made me snort.)

Mark Wahlberg picking Science Fiction scripts- A History:

This is one (only one of many) of the most clearly frustrating things about Return of the Jedi. The guy who- as a threat rivaled Vader in Empire dies so pathetically in Jedi.

I blame Gary Kurtz's absence on the third film for this an all ensuing calamities.

Being able to display "the map" (that could just as easy to display on the HUD) for Nintendo's 2nd most commercially successful franchise isn't really selling me on the importance of hardware, that independently retails for $150USD and is useless without the WiiU (can't travel, etc).

Get rid of the Gamepad as a required component and its associated costs.
