I like that it’s lower stakes too. With either baddie, you don’t get the feeling that the entire MCU/multiverse is at risk, unlike someone that devours entire planets.

It definitely gets less ambiguous with the supernatural happenings in later seasons but they still pepper in some “maybe it is, maybe it isn’t” stories along the way. There’s more of an overarching plot that starts to unfold where you can see that the baddies have a plan that starts to take shape. Honestly, this cast…

I got the Defiant for my birthday (child of divorce, guilt gift from dad). The box was so massive that mom wouldn’t let me keep it so I never got a chance to open it. I did get to trade it in for a bunch of other stuff at Toys R Us though, including the Thundercats Cat’s Lair playset and a new bike.
