Don’t be surprised to see completely computer generated films and actors in a decade .
Good call! I just checked that scene and now was able to see the purgill-like carvings. I also like your idea about the device mapping their migratory routes. I hope it ends up being that and not just the tired old map maguffin.
Was that a Purrgil that Baylan saw in the sky on Seatos? I tried to pause and rewind a couple of times but couldn’t get a clear image.

I’m glad they’re including Peacock as part of the normal season run this time. I still haven’t been able to catch season 2 so hopefully that makes its Peacock debut around the season 3 launch date (or sooner, which wouldn’t break my heart).
Not at all! But I keep coming back for the comments so this article has gotten two clicks from me just for that. And on mobile? The experience is deplorable but I still reload some articles multiple times to try to get the comments to load so I’m sure that counts as “woohoo, page views!” to the bean counters. In…
on the other hand, if people come back to articles multiple times just to check the comments section, doesn’t that help their “moar clicks” mandate?
You said it Boomhauer
If the strike ends soon, and Paramount decides not to kill it in the cradle, you might get your wish:
My kids are big fans of Killer Klowns and Beetlejuice so it’s going to be fun trying to convince them we don’t need the animatronics. Somehow I gotta also convince myself not to buy that Mars Attacks! animatronic.
By Crom I’ll have to check this out! Also time to queue up the score as well :)
I wouldn’t be surprised if he tried to claim the right of Prima Nocta as well.
^ This right here.
I would also love this
I think it would be great to see Billy Dee as a bookending narrator either for the Lando series itself, or each episode. That’s the one thing that I think would have elevated Solo to something more memorable, making Lando the storyteller so certain aspects of the plot could be chalked up to unreliable narrator.
Damn. Pee Wee’s Playhouse (and the movies) were a huge part of my childhood and I still find them amusing all these years later. I also enjoyed Reubens in his many other roles, but The Spleen might be my other fave. RIP and, as always, fuck cancer.
If they ever do a Star Trek: Janeway series, I’d love to see that plot pay off. Maybe the salamander babies and a (somehow) resurrected Tuvix can come looking for revenge :)
If it gets removed from D+ for "tax purposes" then it never happened, right? :)
Regarding the scripts, I kept wondering if it wasn’t just the opening sequence that was AI-generated
