I hope the remaining episodes are more focused on the end goal and that they trim out some of the bottle episodes. I don’t normally mind side jaunts but season 2 had so many of them that it was difficult to enjoy. The back half of the season was much more compelling and that finale, jeez...

My 4 and 6 are a little too fidgety so they definitely wouldn’t have sat through it just based on the length. Other than a little bit of PG-13 language though, there’s nothing content-wise that I would have felt uncomfortable with them watching. My 9yo enjoyed it :)

I mean, if it helps, the druid character is a Tiefling :) And I was surprised to see a lot of other species represented (though not, to your point, as part of the main party) and some good practical effects. 

I watched it this past weekend at a sneak peek event and I thought it was entertaining despite being flawed. I hope it does well beyond the core D&D/RPG fan community because I would definitely love to see more adventures on the big screen.

I didn’t notice him under all the makeup when I first watched the episode but I chuckled when I read about it afterward. I thought between him and Shaw that might be all we got, but I definitely did a little fist pump when I saw the Vulcan come into view :)

Agreed that these look cool! Vigilance (IIRC, been many years for me as well) means the card doesn’t need to tap to attack so it can also defend the next turn. It’s the “Serra Angel” power :)
