This is depressing, but only in as much as something this funny doesn't happen more often.
The JLR corporate team are amazing folks, and Wayne Kung rocks. Excellent company.
Whoa, they badly misplaced CT. It is absolutely horrendous. But if you live in one of the 'quiet corners' (NW or NE) I suppose it's not so bad. But then, no one lives there, so….
Gasoline vapor will 'explode' if contained and ignited, but it is actually harder to get a 'good' (read: 'high-pressure') explosion with gasoline vapor than you would imagine. What we are seeing in this video is certainly not a gasoline vapor explosion. Also, please note that the rounds used in the M2 are ball, not…
There are more muslims in Indonesia than there are in the middle east, just FYI
You are confusing Jalopnik with elementary school. Adults don't 'dare', but perhaps you are too young to know that. If so, no harm no foul. But I do hope you have the capacity to learn. And that's it for this conversation :)
The only reason this is being discussed is Lambo guy's reaction. Had he even simply pulled over and politely asked Jason what he was doing (after even just 5 minutes of being followed) this wouldn't have been news.
Escalating an argument over something you know nothing about with a guy you've never met is rarely a good idea.
I imagine most people would have pulled over after about 15 minutes and asked the photographer what he wanted. I've PM'd Jason to get the rest of the story.
I am sure you wrote that in haste as there are miles of difference between the two.
There seems to be two particulars that have people hot and bothered by this - 1. the amount of time the Lambo was followed, and 2. that there may have been some aggressive driving on the part of the BRZ to catch up to the Lambo (after he caught up all the aggressive driving was mutual).
Now THAT'S a professional-looking Lambo test driver. And professional acting as well. But I am amazed at the number of commenters here blaming Jason for these shenanigans. The Huracans are not readily available, so seeing one is very rare. Anyone driving one for any reason must expect carparazzi and general public…
I took his comments in the Sun to be a sign that he is considering retiring. I wouldn't blame him, as being a target can be exhausting. This all might be over sooner than we realize.
I appreciate what you're saying - and actually agree that word represents an awful mindset. As do any of the slurs we use for the sole purpose of causing pain or insult. This particular word also carries particular historic significance as the era in which it originated, and, more importantly, its use, was a…
It is sad when words bother people. Equally as sad when history does. But to each his own.
The premise that one should be punished for what one thinks (and not one's actions) is religious extremism, even when there is no 'official' religion involved. And yes, the old-timey rhyme used 'the N word', and it makes me gag that one cannot even write a word for historical context due to possible offense of others.…
These are all good, but RCR needs to better define their own voice as opposed to performing Hunter S. Thompson riffs - especially without the benefits of chemicals. Still, insightful at times :) (smiley faces make things better, no?)
Yes, but without the fun of drugs.
So long as the prime directive is "stay right except to pass" I'm ok with this.
