He has to tow. A conventional pickup truck with a big long ladder frame will be more stable. Especially if he has to go fast with something heavy and brake because people cut in front of you like idiots. Also, if you’re doing farmwork and dent or otherwise break the bed, it’s easy to replace on a ladder frame truck.
