I just bought a Colorado 6-speed manual with tow box and bed liner and maintenance package that was 23K after title and taxes. It’s awesome and cheaper than the average new vehicle.

C4 corvette is actually pretty grippy, if demanding of skill at the limit.

C4s are cheap, parts are cheap, and if you carbuerate it so that you don’t ahve to deal with that terrible early GM EFI, you pick up a ton of power and torque for a few hundred. They’re easy to work on too, maybe as easy to work on as a miata. Junk that terrible dash and computer system and you’re good to go.
