Hot tires are more forgiving. Traction control should stay on on public roads yessir. Having neither is a recipe for failure.

If you’re in a C6 it’s even less forgiving; by all means go to a track day. GM has a Corvette specific school out in Nevada somewhere where you don’t even have to use your car. At 1000/weekend it’s a bit much but factoring in tires and brake wear it’s not too bad. If you’re in Dixie I know of plenty of track days that…
First thing I did when I got the Z51 C7 was sign my happy ass up for professional driving instruction on a safe race track. Boy has it paid off. These new vettes punish ham-fisted inputs and aren’t as forgiving and playful as say, a Miata. Also, MAKE SURE THERE’S HEAT IN YOUR TIRES FIRST.
Other people’s concentrated sweat salt and farts. +1
It was probably an Adventure Supercars ferrari and abused regularly. But if they kept up with normal services, the end. Sold.
Give them to the Army. Repeal that silly fixed-wing limitation. The Army will make better use of them than the Air Force ever did.
Congrats man! Come to VIR or CMP or NCCAR. I’d love to see it.
Wait you got your hands on a GT4? Whom did you bribe?
Here in Cackalacky I have to change it after every pollen season in all my vehicles.
This seems to be manufacturer specific. Chevrolet/GM was completely open with me and my order. I placed the order Oct 14 and got the car Feb 15. It was a long, hard, highly anticipated wait that actually made me enjoy the car more than if I had gotten it within the same week. The local Chevy dealer would show me…
I think you meant Camero.
This is just how I ordered my C7. GM does this like a boss.
I have a C4 corvette project in my driveway with 2XL98 blocks. Anyone with 2K cash can walk away with it. This above project is CP all the way.
You are hereby banned from driving my GM cars.
This is the most pro-American statement to come out of this administration in the last 6 years.
Oh that’s really pretty.
This is as eye catching as those big colorful lollipops. I want one.
Don’t forget to be johnny on the spot with the cam chain tensioners and the whole valvetrain maintenance with these cars. Otherwise 20,000$ worth of kaplooey can happen.
