Russo Bros are adult children who want to seem cool but they’re actually just pick-me girls for Gen Z.

Do they ever explain what their vision is? I didn’t read past the first two sentences.

Barbie and Oppenheimer didn’t become the biggest blockbusters of 2023 based on older generations alone.

Apparently, the film is both a prequel and a sequel, alternating timelines with Mufasa’s story and Simba and Nala raising their daughter

He's moderately attractive and deeply unthreatening

Stand up there in a room with POTUS, as well as hundreds of people you’re making fun of, and see how you do.

It feels like almost a million years ago, watching Jon Stewart make one last desperate plea on the eve of the 2004 election for voters to please make his job harder. Comedy was great under Bush, but imagine how boring it could have been under Kerry.

I honestly did think about trying but after a while the place was so stuffed with suits that I just had to get out. Plus I decided that trying to sneak in to an event where the president is would prooobably end with me being detained by the Secret Service.

I feel kinda bad for him though, he’s caught in between a rock and a hard place of “you’re here to makes jokes about the president/media but it’s an

I thought it still happened but he just didn’t attend so no one cared much.

They didn’t cancel it, he just didn’t go.

it’s really funny that this is simultaneously the one that has the pedigree to maybe be a decent movie, but is also the property that should be a movie least of all.

Look up Peter Serafinowicz‘s Kevin Spacey actor studio impression. It was before any allegations and it’s pretty scathing. Many people knew before the public did.

Is the hint “please introduce me to her”? That’s the vibe I’ve personally been sending out, to no avail presently...

Not that I disagree in principle, but most people are at work right now. Me? I’m trapped in a cycle of despair.
