That's right. Forgot that part.

"But Michonne and Heath watching their former friend getting torn apart
in gory detail without either of them thinking to shoot or knife the
poor dude in the head to spare him the agony was frustrating."

Oh, it wasn't that bad. Seemed believable as a mentally disabled guy. At least up to a point.

Right. I mean, you might as well criticise all horror movies for not being rewatchable. I mean, when you know where they jump scares are and everything it's hard to be scared a second time.

Only the ending of the Village is bad.

Bullshit. Only two of his movies have that Twilight Zone twist ending. Two. And plenty other directors can't seem to get over having twists. Nolan and Fincher for example.

How do you know what Shyamalan has or hasn't done personally? Do you know him? Or do you just believe bullshit you read on the internet.

Fuck off idiot. Let's ban every director for their egos. Hey, lets ban every poster for their egos, starting with you.

What if there is a twist? Almost every suspense/thriller/horror movie has some sort of twist. If you don't watch movies with any twist, you probably aren't watching that many movies.

What suspense/thriller movie doesn't have any kind of twist? I mean, most of Nolan's movies have twist. Same is true of Fincher.

I disagree completely. I think it's completely rewatchable. I know, I've seen more than once. The twist happens outside of the main plot, which ends with the kid telling his mother about his gift. You practically end the movie there and audiences would be none the wiser.

Only the ending of the Village is bad.

How does a filmmaker redeem himself other than by making good movies? Cause you kind of contradict yourself there.

So he's accomplished something that Francis Ford Coppola, John Carpenter, George Lucas couldn't do.

Well, is This is Spinal Tap a found footage movie? I mean, what seperates mockumentaries and fake docus from from found footage?

Except you just said he does in this one…Humans act stupid all the time. Just look at youtube.

Movies aren't allowed to have horrible irresponsible people?

It was the waitress.

I liked the shoot out. I liked that so many people got shot, especially bystanders. How many action movies have we seen where good and bad guys are shooting each other and no one around them ever gets hit? It reminded me of Michael Mann's Heat shootout. That and one of Anton Fuqua's movies is the only ones I've seen

Rubbish. If these people didn't want to waste time and money and energy then stop watching movies that may or may not be good. Filmmaker's have no obligation to entertain you.
