They know white woman vote republican no matter what so why should they care about a few women who yell at them and can’t do anything?

From the linked article:

Morons on twitter and elsewhere have also been sharing this picture of ‘ford’ standing with Bill Clinton to prove she’s a dem operative, not realizing that this is actually Kirsten Gillibrand. I don't get how someone can be dumb enough to make that mistake but smart enough to operate a computer to post it.

I’ll never forget it. 2007 in health class we were watching a documentary about sexual assault and some asshole bully started making fun of how gross it was and how the girl was ‘too ugly to rape’ and my cool stoner dude neighbor stood up and told him to shut the fuck up in the middle of class. Just wanted to share

“Brett was a sexy 17-year old, so he would only rape sexy 15-year olds,” said the GOP chairman.

You know what I love about Republicans? They’re gracious in both victory and defeat.

So...the girl in the picture is too ugly to be sexually assaulted? That’s what this man wants to go with? He needs to lose his damn job.

I think I saw that article, or else I read one just like it lately (it is a common lament these days, unfortunately).....

Recent polls also suggest that Kavanaugh is causing an uptick of voting enthusiasm from Republicans, so if the inevitable happens sooner than later maybe that will die back down, at least.

MSNBC was looking at the poll numbers this morning and this entire thing is anxiety producing.

It sure never used to be a partisan battle. Alas, all our governmental functions and institutions that ‘never used to be a partisan battle’ are now stuck hopelessly in partisan battles.

Hopefully the Kavanaugh outrage will act as a motivator, though ofc we do need to shift focus enough to actually direct that energy toward the polls. I’d like to think that these senators’ votes on the Kavanaugh confirmation will still be fresh in people’s minds come Election Day.

That’s a reasonable point.  But if he feels that the Senate cannot address these allegations in a fair and even-handed way, that is a fundamental failure.

Of course it was a sham. We knew that as soon as they declined to interview Ford or Kavanaugh themselves.

Well, now they are out of time, they sunk way too much time on him.  They should have told 45 no right away and told him to pick someone else.

Do don’t have much in the way of foresight, do you? Approving this kind of behavior because it’s aimed at someone you dislike politically couldn’t POSSIBLY have any future downside??

You should be skeptical. It’s like saying, “I know what the right thing to do is, but since you were mean about it, I’m not going to have anything to do with it.”

When they first started saying she was not plausible I thought it was about how anti-GOP Avenatti is, and I did not find her to be as easily believable as Dr Ford in her NBC interview this week, but after this letter was released it feels to me like someone is working hard to make her look crazy. I would imagine

I wholeheartedly agree with you.

More than Trump right now. Trump is moving to “Not worth the calories” level pathetic. This... thing though... he is smarter than Trump and he thinks we’re all as dumb as Trump.
