I think it boils down to the notion that listening to someone’s work makes that person your property.

Yeah it’s always interesting looking back on someone’s record after hearing about stuff like this. Matt Lauer’s behavior (especially during the election( and persona made a lot more sense to me.

I wonder how aggressively pro Trump you would have to be to get fired from Fox News for it. I mean, the “Fox and Friends” is basically a state media organ. Hannity might as well be Trump’s Vice President; he probably is consulted on policy issues more often than Mike Pence is.

I agree. There isn’t anything that anyone. can do to change their minds. It isn’t even worth trying, since they are a lost cause IMHO.

It’s not even really an excuse, it’s an admission. There’s something Trumpian about describing an offense and then using that description as your defense. Like, “I’m not a drug dealer, I just give people illegal narcotics in exchange for money.” Huh??
