Honestly, I plan to deny all of this and gaslight any non Americans who bring him up after his term is over. I’ll be an expert at furrowing my brow and cocking my head to one side in an expression of abject non comprehension.

The argument between Batman and the BD always reminds me of a very, very similar argument that he has with an alternate reality dictator Batman from the Justice League series. The part where Batman argues for free will and freedom of choice while the robot or the alternate reality Batman argues for perfect order and

“Other”, is what I wanted to type. ;)

I think it’s a mixture of Trump’s own severe, inescapable personality defects and the fact that he has more access than any previous president. If, say, James Buchanan or even Richard Nixon was a whack job, there was a limit to how visible that would be to an ordinary person who doesn’t live in the White House. Trump

Are they inviting any other heads of state? I remember reading that this was going to be a private function, not an official one where government officials would participate.

Don’t forget about one of Moore’s gother election specialists, Jim Condit. Per the Washington Post, Condit writes prolifically on the topic of the Rothschilds, Zionist control over world politics, and the involvement of Israel in the planning of the 9/11 attacks.

But aren’t you assuming that women have feelings? I don’t think this guy would buy that.

Yes, exactly. It baffles me that Bannon even gets credit for Trump’s win. You never hear people talking about Corey Lewandowski (who got Trump through the primaries), Paul Manafort (who got Trump through the convention), or Kellyanne Conway (who was campaign co chair with Bannon) in the same way. Those people arguably

Proximity to Trump is a big part of his entire shtick to be honest. If you look at his recent track record, it appears that his entire resume as a political consultant is “being near candidates who look like they are going to win, and taking credit for that”. He didn’t add anything to Trump’s campaign; the alt right

That’s very true. I do think that liberals in general just don’t place that much weight on this specific issue though. There was a poll during the election that I’ve been trying to find that showed that for conservatives, the Supreme Court was one of their top priorities. It was more important than Obamacare repeal.

Conservatives, especially religious ones, have always been better about recognizing the value of this than liberals are. I firmly believed that the death of Scalia and the vacancy on the court was a game changer for conservatives who might have blown off this election when Trump eked out a win.

Lindsey Graham admitted this in an interview.

I think it’s neat how, even though Weinstein has been exposed as a disgusting, manipulative rapist, somehow people are still finding a way to blame his crimes on random women who happened to work adjacent to him over the past thirty years.

Agree 100% with the last paragraph. Many people have suggested that Ryan is somehow being controlled or bullied by Trump, but Trump is clearly the subservient one in their relationship. He gives the GOP leadership whatever they want for the most part.

I’m not surprised it’s that low. Did anyone else see the description on Jezebel of the process complainants have to go through? 30 Days waiting period, 30 Days mediation, etc. The process is designed to punish women who come forward and make it so grueling that they give up.

It’s just so weird though. He’s done a reasonably good job so far of standing up to Trump on taxes, healthcare, etc even though he’s under a lot of pressure to buckle since he represents the most pro-Trump state in the country. He’s held the line on most major issues so far but when it comes to the sexual assault

That’s fair. But then, wouldn’t this have been smart to think about in the 3-4 weeks before franken announced his resignation? Instead, they waited until several days after his replacement was named to go on TV with this? It just seems like a weird, counterproductive approach that fails on every level.

It’s funny, I remember being appalled by Palin when she was around. But after Trump, I barely remember what she looks like.

Are those real??

he’s done a decent job of holding the line on taxes, health care, and other issues that a lot of people were expecting him to cave on. That being said, this seems like a really stupid move on his part. He doesn’t have to go after Trump as hard rhetorically as someone in California or New York, but he doesn’t have to
