Pathetic, worthless article. The only thing I can say about DEI is that it is indoctrination at the highest levels. Repeat after me: “It helps no one.”

It’s the comments that keep showing up here, politically tinged/slanted articles, inaccurate facts (lazy research), etc. that are pulling me away from what once a site devoted to cars and their enthusiasts. Very few of comments here mention the remarkable car and the historic choosing of a non-restored car to receive

This is a car enthusiast site.  Keep the political crap off of it!

The Ferrari 365 GTB/4 & GTS Daytonas. Listen to it on “The Gumball Rally”. You will be thrilled!  Nothing else like it!

My son won one these in a raffle. He loved it for many years. He knew it wasn’t skate park worthy but it was still cool with independent suspension, rubberized wheels, etc..

The best aural opulence from any car comes from sonorous note of a Ferrari 365 GTB Daytona V12.  As far as I’m concerned, this is the benchmark for exhaust for a sports car.  I should know...I used to tune exhaust systems for GM, Nissan, etc. back in my engineering days.

Would you mind using other sites besides Facebook Marketplace? I don’t have a FB account and I can’t view any of the links you post.

As a Chaplain for a senior living community, I found your article very narrow-minded and condescending. “Old folks” this, “old folks” that. The worst, “old folks home”. Perhaps it’d do you well to do some research and even better if you’d go spend some time in a senior living community.

Please...someone LS swap one and lift it a little.  I’ll donate for the build!

I have zero empathy for the UAW. I used to work as a GM engineer and the average line worker had a better salary and benefits than I did. Also, the union had such inane rules like not being able to empty your own trash can because that could impact a union job. Oh, and I don’t forget being harassed an threatened

Just do this if you really want one of these. At least it’s NP (for the moment)!

I’m a former exhaust design engineer and I must say I’ve never seen anything quite like this. We really need the Ford exhaust release engineer to ‘splain to us what’s going here. My guess this is help with CO intrusion. Air flow on these cars can create vacuum eddies at the rear of the car. And if the rear window is

Hearsay not heresy (or maybe you meant it this way ;-)

Fellow Purdue engineering grad here (ME). Congrats to your daughter. EE is a very challenging curriculum! May she thrive well in Chicago!

The Daytona Spyder in the Gumball Rally. I was instantly hooked!

Brings up some memories....I designed the exhaust system on this car.  Back in the day, GM didn’t give much love to this car and just kinda threw it out on the market along with the other lackluster A-cars.  The 2.5L “Iron Duke” is a noisy but durable engine.  If you really want a unicorn, see if you can find one with
