Haven’t tried the McDs app yet.  We did try the CFA one, and it didn’t help anything, just introduced another step.  I guess I figured that if the king of fast food service couldn’t improve the experience with an app, why would McDs be able to? That’s probably not fair, I know.

I think my grocery store has started offering pick up on orders again too.  But I’m told fashioned and prefer to go in.  If I’m in the mind set of not having to park, and my coupons or sale items or whatever don’t compute properly, I’d probably get extra irritated about having to park and go back in. I just don’t

Absolutely true that the downfall of most kiosk implementations is related to poor interface construction.

Thing is, despite all the trash people talk about the teenagers or whoever are behind the counter, typing in and assembling those orders is something they are good at. Most of them that have been there more than a couple of months get through lunch rush on muscle memory.

Yes, the secret to surviving lunch rush is to go inside.

We tried the new kiosks in the McDs next to my work. I did use a card, and it would haver been faster to just go to the counter in that instance.

Well TIL. I didn’t know this was such a widespread meme.

I would have taken it as instructions and gone and got shitfaced, because honestly, that’s when I usually reach for KFC anyway.

Our food news is full of special snowflakes today.  Another sign of the apocalypse.

Counterpoint: yes, and somebody at least knew how to option correctly.

God bless you, season ticket holder!

Yep, and you can gauge your alcohol intake by the final score.

Wait, I just posted about this sign!  Where is this one?

There used to be a sign over the little mom&pop coffee counter in our basement at work. It read, “Unattended children will be given an espresso and a free puppy”.

And I’m not a Cowboys fan, just someone forced to live in that market.

Well this move should bring a Hardee round of applause from women’s advocacy groups.

You make it sound like the food coma is a bad thing. It’s the best way to fall asleep in front of the fire while watching the Cowboys lose another.

Came here to post this.  Well done.

That’s funny to me because usually those mixed drinks cost more.  I wouldn’t think a bartender would do anything to discourage their purchase.
