That’s not actually true. I happen to know for a fact that I am not the only vette/viper owner out there. There are many of us. We appreciate both cars but for different reasons.

Maybe they were trying to come up with something to compete with the Z/28? Great on the track and great on the road?
A few years ago I wanted to buy a Ford Mustang convertible and pay cash. I wanted to do it pawn stars style with a big stack of cash. My own bank balked at the idea of me having that much cash in my hands. The dealer refused to do a cash transaction. In the end I had to get a certified bank check. Interestingly the…
I drive a viper all the time and I haven’t crashed it. Well yet anyways. If I jumped out of 4 cylinder under powered car like an FRS into a viper that demands good throttle control, then I would expect to die.
You just made me want to go in the garage and kick the tires on my C7 just now.
I had a few youtube videos of me in my Hummer that may still be online, I haven’t checked in a long time. I would love to read the comments when people would make outrageous claims like “I could drive through that stream with my old Buick”, or ‘That’s not very scary’. It was hilarious.
Congrats for finally doing the right thing and bringing the Hummer to it’s home turf. I have also been to Rausch creek with the Hummer Club years ago and it was a lot of fun. One thing I have found is that slopes, inclines and descents look sort of not scary in a picture or video, but sitting in the drivers seat and…
My C7 (Stingray not a Z06) is still nice and tightly put together and squeak free after about 10,000 in about 1.5 years of ownership. I wouldn’t trade the carbon fiber top for any fixed roof if I were in the market for a Z06 coupe.
I live in New England and I love driving and owning fast cars and shooting guns. That makes me practically the daughter of Satan here. In Arkansas I could be a hot chick in a viper/corvette ;)
Sadly, the entirety of New England is turning into this kind of crap by people who want to preserve the ‘colonial history’ at all costs. Everything be dammed. Some of these people just want to hear the sound of crickets and birds chirping. I love living in the berkshires, there are some wonderful roads for sports…
I guess it’s almost time to put mine up on blocks and just admire it through a dirty garage window.
Why does it seem like I am one $3,000 body kit away from turning my C7 stingray into a Ferrari?
Look at it this way. These are 4 burned up cars that will show up in nice price or crack pipe in about 10-15 years, still looking horrible.
Josh you are a real hero and I also love your rig! It’s refreshing to see some offroading instead of silly things like Doug taking an H1 to a drag strip.
Don’t put a gun in those storage cases in the northeast states unless you really like orange jumpsuits.
Still no offroading adventures?? When are you going to put that thing through it’s paces?
2 Words. Wheeler Dealers. That’s really about cars, everything else is about egos and personalities, including Top Gear, although Top Gear was a hoot specifically because of the personalities.
I’ve owned 3 cars on this list. The H1 Hummer, Lotus Esprit and yes a Yugo. The H1 was fun in it’s day, and it was nice when there was a Hummer club and real adventure cruises, but now that’s all gone. It was unbelievable on unplowed snowed in roads. Now it’s just collectors and the curious. The Lotus was a really…
One car I think that gets overlooked a lot for a luxury car is the Hyundai Genesis. It’s nice looking and luxurious inside. It’s reminds of an old school Lincoln when they were at the top of the luxury car pile.
I prefer my garage, corvette and viper. Those are 2 cars that can get mad at each other just sitting in the same garage. I have a viper license plate frame on the vette and a vette license plate frame on the viper. It’s kind of like punishment ;)
