Hmmm, so if I currently own 6 cars and buy 2 more, then I can call Bentley. Sounds like a prize in a racing game. Why is it that I suddenly feel very poor.

Unless Chrysler pulls a rabbit out of their collective hats, there will be even bigger discounts this time next year for left over vipers. Plus Chevy will have a convertible Z06 and viper still has nothing. They either need to undercut Corvette on price or outdo them in performance, plus cut the price even deeper. I…
Here in the Northeast I have seen a few boutique Lotus dealers pop in out of thin air and then disappear again a short while later. I think some people buy out an exiting dealers stock, think to themselves, wow I'm a lotus dealer, and then a few months later they are selling the same 3 car inventory to someone else…
"Jalopnik's tamed physicist, Dr. Stephen Granade." Some say....All we know is he's called Dr. Stig!
I personally think that Marchionne is looking at the bigger picture for Italy than just Ferrari. Certainly the Italian brands ferrari, maserati and lamborghini are among the most coveted and storied brands in the history of things with wheels. But for all of their successes (and they have plenty) they are still .01%…
I had the pleasure of meeting you guys last summer at Lime Rock Park. In fact I have your autographed pictures hanging up on my wall. I guess that makes me a fan. My question is, when you are not driving Vipers on the track, do you also drive them on the street as well? What is your favorite "off of the track" car?
I don't about anyone else, but Lotus dealerships seem to be evaporating slowly up here in the Northeast. Plus Lotus only has 1 car they sell here, it's not like it justifies a showroom or service center. It would suck if we lose them because they really are beautiful cars.
I have a dragon jeep and I love it. I get an awful lot of compliments on it. It's a definite mall crawler, but that's fine with me.
I hate to admit it, but I did own a Yugo. It was a car that could be bought for a shade over $5k. It was cheap to own and it was the only car I owned that I drove to a junkyard to get rid of, since it had no value left.
I agree. If there is a single penny lost in Massachusetts (taxes collected, gas tax, etc), someone is going to get a tax bill. It could very well end up in Tesla's lap. In other words, they won the battle but lost the war.
I know no diesel (cummins 6.7), but I wonder about the eco-diesel. If they could only bump up the fuel economy to the other side of dreadful this would have some potential. I know it's a rolling cinder block for aerodynamics, but chucking in bigger and bigger gas engines isn't the answer. Short of that, I always felt…
Orange peel in the paint on the Corvette. I have a '13 vette and it has some orange peel but it's not that bad, I can live with that. From talking to other owners it seems to be hit or miss. Some people have it, some don't. It just leads me to believe that the painting standards are not set very high. For my '14 vette…
As a former SRT owner, I guess I was the only one who was sad to read about the SRT exclusivity going away and SRT turning into some kind of tuner shop. But if this is true it may give me pause to consider a hellcat or a viper for a 2015 ride. The wizards at SRT are quite amazing with what they can come up with not…
My C7 gets around 21mpg but that includes city driving, highway driving and weekend fun spirited driving. On just the highway alone I have hit 31 and from speaking to other C7 owners that seems to be about right. I can't have a car like this unless I am willing to drive like a maniac sometimes :)
I don't know, a ferrari 4wd SUV sounds pretty cool to me. I can imagine flying across the desert and grabbing air on a sand dune :)
Just let me know when I can get the order in. I love my C7 but that is in a whole other league. I'm game if Chevy is game!
Someone in CT has one of these Spykers and from time to time I have seen it driving on route 91 and wow those are hard to miss on the highway. They also sound outstanding while just cruising along on the highway. I had one creep up on me and it was imposible to miss or forget the lovely sound that comes from a spyker.
Since I have a wonderful Laguna Blue C7, then it's pretty obvious what I am going to say. But to be honest, I can have a C7 and a Jeep Wrangler (just for ha-ha's and winter weather here in the northeast) for the price of the benz or the jag. Don't just judge by performance alone. Some of the jag and benz dealers up…
The nostrils on the hood of the current generation Dodge Challenger are fake holes to nowhere, unless it's the SRT version of the Challenger in which case they are functional.
Many years ago when I was younger I had a Triumph Spitfire. What a car and it was an incredible blast to drive as I'm sure the Miata is. I used to love working on the car, with it's flip-up hood and then sit on a tire while I figure out what to do next. I used to work for a company that had a division in the UK and I…
