in cases like this i’d prefer if they didn’t throttle at all. I’d rather my phone not being able to sustain a charge and me knowing it needs to be replaced than not knowing until it get’s to the point where the battery starts to swell/near catastrophic failure(as is the case with lithium batteries ).
