I have a suggestion, Tom cshould write an article about the 987 Cayman instead so I can complete step 6.

Obviously the value of having their car exactly how they want it is greater than the value of that depreciation.
The problem with that is the car still has to be able to sell itself without mods. While people like you and me know the potential these cars have (it was actually my second choice after my Cayman), many are still unaware or afraid to mod their cars.
I sold my 96 Buick Roadmaster and bought an 08 Cayman. People think I’m crazy for liking both of those cars equally. They think I’m crazier still when I tell them I cross-shopped that Cayman with a Subaru, Toyota, Chevy, BMW, Ford, Cadillac, Mercedes, and Honda. Brand perception is dumb.
It’s less about the horsepower and more about the torque and the character of the engine, I think. I have so much fun with my Porsche flat-six because, despite its 245 horsepower, it pulls consistently from 3000 to 7000 rpm, revs very quickly, and sounds amazing. It might take me 6 seconds to get to 60, but I’m having…
I took apart my computer to swap the CPU cooler and it wouldn’t turn on. I spent half a week thinking I friend the CPU or mobo by getting thermal paste somewhere it shouldn’t go, meaning I’d have to drop a couple hundred replacing (or upgrading) one or both. Luckily I knew to test cheaper solutions first, so I picked…
Do it! I don’t know what you drive but it doesn’t matter because you deserve some automotive fun after this April snow bullshit.
Yup! I’m itching to murder some cones... Are you going?
Actually, I am! I live in Minneapolis and would be more than happy to let you have a look at it. You’ll also be able to find me at the autox at the end of the month.
It came like that. I don’t have the stomach to pay what it would cost to have them professionally made and applied, but they were a good sign that the seller was a die-hard Porsche fan. (That and the fact that he was the head of Concours for his local PCA).
I paid a bit more for mine a couple months ago, but it’s got red over tan, an extra set of wheels, and the owner took care of it obsessively so I don’t mind too much. These cars are hilariously good value in the sportscar world. They may not be the top in terms of speed per dollar, but they nail every piece of the…
Cubelock is busted as hell. I am a somewhat-casual, FTP Hearthstone player and I crafted it just so I could have one top tier deck. But man is it busted. Yesterday a priest stole both my Voidlord so what did I do? Cubed my Doomguard, Faceless’ed that Cube, and Taldaram’ed that Cube. Turn 10 comes around and I play…

Learning how to better control your car is never a bad thing. Throttle/brake modulation, how to correct for under- and over-steer, how to stay calm despite the conditions, and feeling out the limits of the available traction are just some of the things you can learn at a school like this that have practical…
I clicked on this headline looking only for validation of my constant, unyielding, harassment-level insistence that Sweet Baby Ray’s is the best barbecue sauce.
I stripped the wheel studs on my friends minivan after the guy at NAPA sold me the wrong ones. But my stupid ass just thought I was pushing the threads through the rust while I was actually pushing them through the studs. That was my lowest moment for sure.
Well, here in the NFC North we have Aaron Rodgers, Kirk Cousins, Matt Stafford, and, uhhh...
Ah, I just saw that he bought the car in 2017 from a dealer known for importing cars so I assumed it was fresh off the boat.
