Exactly. I would love to play this without the scares. The story is compelling. I would also love to read a novelization of this with the scares. I just can’t play these kinds of games.

If they took the monsters out entirely, I’d play the game. I don’t need them to enjoy the ‘horror’ of this game. I’ve read a bunch of it and it’s fascinating. I’d play it as a straight up adventure game.
