Here's a good video of landing and taking off at #2:

You're joking, right? The Evo X has had good sales. The reason Mitsubishi is killing it off is because the president of the company is practically anti-performance. He is a green type of leader and wants Mitsubishis to be hybrids or full electric vehicles. Sales have been so good in fact for the Evo X, that dealers

In a way, I am disappoint. Like, what in the world is going on? Mitsubishi stabs us in the back with the cancellation of the Evo X. They then trot out one of the biggest POSs out there in the form of the Mirage. The Outlander looks stodgy and only the Outlander Sport has done anything for Mitsubishi's bottom line.

I am very excited about this but also have a bit of trepidation. See, it seems that niche programmers like this often go with a certain satellite or cable outlet. About 20 years ago, I had cable TV. Then, I switched to Dish TV to get more programming. Then, Speed Vision came along and was only on Direct TV. So, I

These type of cars would be such a hoot on the street. Small and compact, light, packed with a small displacement engine with good hp and torque and you have a recipe for fun. One of my dream cars would be a Fiesta ST with awd and 300 hp. Throw in DSG and there would be many smiles per gallon.

There was a top rock group in the 60s called "Paul Revere and the Raiders" They had a hit song called, "Too much talk and not enough action". Somehow seems fitting...

OMG, where were these 30-40 years ago when I did so much work on my cars? Even today, being able to have such ample space underneath to work on hard to reach places is such a blessing. Thank you for sharing this!

Funny how Chris Perkins referred to the Evo X as being cheap and a poor road car while he calls a Fox body Mustang a great performance car. Something is wrong with the math here.

Back in the early 70s, I saw an actual D-type Jaguar that was street driven. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it. Resplendent in British Racing Green, it was a sight to behold.

I just wish this battle could be continued in the GTLM class in the Tudor Series...

Really? Gee, I never knew that. Pulling out DOES NOT imply giving up. It just means to leave. You are straining at a gnat and swallowing a camel. Sheesh. This is all about semantics and you know it.

Really? 11.2 vs. 11.6 elapsed time. 126 mph vs. 114 mph trap speed. Do the math. Just because this knucklehead did poorly with the Hellcat does not mean that a capable driver would do the same thing. I LOL when I read your comment.

17s in the quarter mile when many of the car mags have the 8 speed Hellcat Challenger down to the low 11s or high 10s with a trap speed around 126 mph.

I will always think back to 2003 when Petter Solberg won the championship for Subaru. I was really saddened when Subaru pulled out

I am glad to see Subaru still maintaining the rally roots of the STi. Mitsubishi still makes a rally type car for the street, but then does not compete with it. The appeal of both cars is that they give a nod towards rally type performance. I hope that Subaru keeps the flame alive when the Evo X dies off.

These pictures make me want to break out into a chorus of the Air Force theme song:

I remember the tire issues about premature wear. I didn't realize that the V6 was unreliable though.

Reminds me of the French Mirage fighter that made the craziest pass I have ever seen:

So true. But, that is what artificial limbs are for! As an aside, I remember seeing my first one at a gas station. Resplendent in red, it made cars like the Corvette look like a shuttle bus. The original NSX was sexy, low and oh so Honda, which at the time, had had some of the best engines in F1.

I understand the rationale for him to drive both cars, but still, it was douchey as you say.
