I have always loved the livery on the Flying Lizard cars. I felt kind of bad for them when CORE Autosport got the factory blessing. Before the Tudor series, Flying Lizard had some very fast and uber competitive GT [now GTLM] cars.

Honestly, it is probably the best car I have ever owned reliability wise, next to my 2001 Corolla which has only given a trouble free ownership. Both my son and I bought new 2011 Evo Xs in 2011. We have the same bolt ons, but for some reason, his has always been faster than mine. I never drive my Evo in the winter,

I own a 2011 Evo X and my son also owns one. Both have full bolt ons. Neither one has heat soak, even when it is in the mid 90s. I know many Evo owners who track their cars and heat soak is not an issue. Where I live, we have 93 octane gas as well as E85. E85 makes the engines run cooler and makes more power.

I hope Ford pulls this off in a way that American enthusiasts will be happy. I happen to own a Mitsubishi Evo X. Since Mitsubishi is going to drop the Evo X, I have read lots of comments by owners that the RS will be their next car. Mitsubishi dropped the ball and Ford picked it up and ran with it.

You got that right.

Great point!

I didn't add them because they are such a dark horse indeed.

I remember when AJ was asked to drive for Preston Henn's Porsche 935. His teammate to be Bob Wolleck was livid. But, AJ ruled the day and they won the Daytona 24 hours. Found this article:

Great comment. Back in 1967, AJ was paired with Dan Gurney to drive the number one Shelby prepared Ford Mk IV at LeMans. The concern was that since AJ was so hard on cars, he would break the Mk IV. But, he drove like a champ and always handed it off to Dan in great shape. I remember in the 70s how much I was rooting

Perfect weekend track car. Price is right too.

The car looks really good. LeMans should be the best one in years, and the last few years have been very exciting. Now, if we could script that Audi, Porsche and Toyota could all finish on the same lap at the end of the race, each battling for position to see who will win, much like the ending of the movie, "LeMans".

And to think that some people believe in evolution, that life forms are evolving into more sophisticated beings...

Ok, I must have stepped into another dimension of time. Alonso signs with McLaren Honda and there is talk of him going to Mercedes and yet, you make this statement that everyone wants to drive for Ferrari. Am I missing something here?

I have read it is only for one year. Source please?

You are probably right and I too feel that is just a ploy to get Hamilton to sign on for a longer contract. However, it must be tempting for Alonso to think about one more WDC...

Um, the guy is not getting any younger. If Alonso is contracted with Honda, I would assume that the marriage will be more than one year. Otherwise, what would the benefit be for Honda to have him for a short time? Then, it would have made more sense to sign a one year contract with McLaren rather than Honda. Honda I

Too bad because having Alonso there would have made for some fast and furious racing. Question though: If Alonso is singed with Honda, then why are so many talking about him going to Mercedes in the future?

I kind of like the fingers slammed into the car door articles. Something about throbbing finger tips that makes for juicy journalism. Surely, you could have cooked up an hysterical story about how all the free booze helped you forget the throbbing pain.

The old girl never looked so good. In the "buff" she is still a hot looking babe! For me the B52 will always be about dropping insane amounts of ordnance on North Viet Nam:

Really stunning livery on the Polo. Now, if VW would just make a street version of this car, they would have me lining up to buy one!
