I first saw this car on the cover of Sports Car Graphic way back in 1968. In fact, I still have this issue. Car is still stunning today after all these years.

I would say the same to you. Why be so condescending in your first comment to me? If I posted a picture of Hitler, obviously I know a thing or two about the Nazis. And, I don't need a history lesson. Thank you for your cooperation.
Really? The Nazis built the Autobahn? Do tell. Thanks for the reply Einstein.
Remove those dorky looking inner headlights that look like warts and this car would be purrfect!
Absolutely stunning Volvo. Best looking one since the P1800.
Ok, now if the said car with ham gets rear ended, would it be making bacon?
Being half Danish explains to me why Lego has such reticence about sponsoring an F1 car. I grew up in a mostly Danish community and I can tell you that there is no room at all for extravagance. Drivers like Tom Kristensen and Kevin Magnussen are atypical for most Danes. They actually have a soul and passion for…
Well, Patrick is in good company now. Virginia has now become the official Speed Nazi capital of the United States. I am sorry, but speeding should not carry such an excessive penalty. In my opinion, this is a prime example of a state government running amok. Not to overuse the word hyperbole, but this is what comes…
Ok, one less chicane to go around. Now, what about those giant motorhomes?
Well, so much for the break in time...
If I had this engine, I would build a display in my living room and just stare at it constantly. The engine is almost too beautiful to be ensconced in anything other than an F40. Chevy LS motors are for swaps. Ferrari engines are to be ogled.
I have been into military weaponry since I was 3 years old and that was in 1955 when I learned about P 38 Lightnings and such. I have studied military history and developments through the years. However, I had never heard the term "Littoral" until I started reading Tyler's articles. I even had to look the word up in…
You are right of course, for a moment in time, we lived in Camelot...
Please oh God, make it look like a Mk IV which won Sebring and LeMans in 1967:
I suppose to stay viable with the loss of Ford, the series has to change to allow more manufacturers in. But, it will no longer be V8 Supercars, which is the brand that has been so successful for so long. If turbos are introduced, that will kill the brand because teams will use whatever engine is the most powerful.
Reminds me of that Allan McNish crash at LeMans in 2011. Glad to see that these cars are designed with safety in mind.
The U2 has served the U.S. well for 58 years. First time it was flown and produced was in 1956! The fuselage was actually based on the F-104 Starfighter. As such, it came in several millions dollar under
Well played!
My post was done with a modicum of sarcasm. Apparently, you missed that. I posted quotes from Enzo Ferrari to show the irony of where the team is 26 years after his death. You can't blame the man after that long a time. Besides, what do you have to say about the Schumacher era? Apparently, you were asleep for about 5…
The problem here is that this seems to be done by a "shade tree" type of mechanic, not a dealer or manufacturer. While retreading is a staple of the truck industry, it has always had a bad reputation for cars. Not sure why, but I know I wouldn't want retreads if I was doing "spirited" driving.
