Really enjoyed the end of the race. Loved it when Kenseth jumped on Brat Brad as well as Smoke backing up into the Brat.

Since I grew up with stars like Steve McQueen and James Garner and since I have watched LeMans, Grand Prix a zillion times as well as having seen The Racing Scene, this is something I wish I could see first hand. There is something about seeing films like these in a theater rather than on a DVD...

Don't see much similarity between what you showed and the new America. Amphibious Assault Ships are one thing, but scaled down carriers are another thing. Personally, I see the America as an expensive toy that is more in the realm of the role of a supercarrier. But, I don't work for the DOD, so maybe they know better

It does use BP 93 octane or E85, which we have in abundance here where I live. Also, we have a few places that have E98, but either way, the car idles nicely, albeit with a deep growl and is very docile in traffic. This is the part that amazes me because in the past, having a car that is essentially a race car on the

Given the need for this type of action of combining special forces with an active carrier, it is great to see this type of training. I just hope that the George Washington and Seals and Marines will be able to inflict maximum hurt on ISIS at some time in the near future.

Oh stop. 5 stars right there!

So basically, the Marines have their own carrier now? Given the ship's mission using vertical take off aircraft like the Osprey and F35B, it would have been better to come up with an amphibious assault ship rather than a scaled down carrier. I find it hard to believe that the Marines need their own naval capabilities

I love happy endings. Good for all those who chipped in to help restore a Marine's life back to normal.

When you think of drivers like Nuvolari, Caracciola, Rosemeyer and Stuck, all driving those amazing pre-war Alfas and Auto Unions and Mercedes, you get an appreciation for how much sheer courage it took to drive those cars. Even the post war cars up until they got more safety equipment were the stuff of legends.

Somehow, Tesla and wallpaper is an oxymoron. You won't see any posters of the car in my garage either, regardless of what a good car it is. It lacks charisma and the cache necessary to be worthy of a computer desktop wallpaper. Now, the Fisker on the other hand...

Good God, you strain at a gnat and swallow a camel. Get your head out of your rear end. If you think that a one ship does it all is easier on a crew, you are daft man. A ship with a single purpose mission would be easier for a crew to manage as their mission is more specific. You sir are patently incorrect at life.

Dumb shit, I already made the correction and noted that I meant Afghanistan. Learn to read, learn to read... Take a moment and read my reply to Brian, the Life of you moron.

Umm, I guess you haven't read what I said either. It is a GT-R, like any GT-R that annihilates every other car on a road course. Yes, the car in the video is set up for one mile runs but can do turns as well. Plus, you said it wasn't streetable. I am trying to impress upon you that it is streetable. You know fully

Sorry, but you just do not know what you are talking about. Apparently, you did not read what I said. Let me make this clear: THIS CAR IS FULLY STREETABLE. I repeat: THIS CAR IS FULLY STREETABLE. I thought I had made it clear that they are in the flesh where I live and are street driven. D9cile yet brutal.

Hopefully, much was learned from Japan and will not be repeated. BTW, I never talked about yellow flags. I do believe I mentioned a safety car, which I assume you understand to be different entities.

Oh ye of even littler knowledge, we are not talking about the former Soviet Union. We are talking about conventional warfare with countries that have maritime access. And, don't get cute with me. I am 62 and lived through the Cuban Missile Crisis. BTW, everyone knew deep down that going nuke would never happen. And,

I do believe that Adolph Schickelgruber-aka Hitler felt the same about Benito Mussolini. Must have been those shiny boots and brass buttons that did the trick. I guess it takes on dictator to appreciate another and so, Bernie is highly acclaiming Vladimir Putin. I suppose the land grab of Ukraine appeals to Bernie

I misspoke. I was thinking of Afghanistan. Thanks for the correction.

Listened to NBCSports today about F1 practice. Steve Matchett mentioned that the safety car should have been deployed immediately after the Sutil accident. Any time there are workers with tractors or the like to extract a car, the safety car should be deployed. We all hope and pray that Jules will recover. F1 does not

Houston, we have a problem. We have not been taking Mr. Torchinsky's proposals seriously enough. At the very least, slap a Jalopnik sticker on the next manned spacecraft...
