As nice as it was to see a classic game reborn, the in-game announcer got old fast. I can only hear the word(s) "Combo-Breaker" so many times. I had to mute the stream after the first set of KI demo fights.

I just bought 4 more games...

The unplayed game is slightly inaccurate. Some of the dev packs (like the Id collection, for example) contain games that I've played prior to Steam. There are games that I don't touch on Steam but have put plenty of time in. Still crazy seeing how much I've put in over the years.

Good stuff. I'm still on the fence with this game, but it's nice seeing chucks of gameplay like that without serious editing (like what you'd see in a typical video review).
Keep em coming!

I picked it up on the Vita after your last article previewing the game and was very happy with the purchase. Glad to hear its coming out on other platforms... might just pick it up for my Gnex/Nexus 7 too.

I'd tried the original games several times earlier on, but I can only remember truly playing and beating Metal Gear 1 and 2 when they added them to MGS3 Subsistence.

I waited patiently once I heard Hotline Miami was coming out on the Vita... and it was totally worth it. I happily blazed through the campaign and unlocked all the masks and most of the trophies. I can only hope that in HM2, they offer some sort of extra difficulty, a level editor, or just a lot more extra (perhaps

I won't even be home from work by 7pm so I'm not really worried, but in the event the maintenance is extended (as they have been in the past) I still have my The Last of Us "Survivor Mode playthrough" I'm working on and Neverwinter MMO on PC to keep me busy until PSN is back.

Immersion lost.

Pfft... Everyone knows Canadians don't get upset.

I tried shooting the doctor in the foot, thinking that would just maim him rather than kill him (I didn't attack the other two assistants in that room either), but he just collapsed dead as if I'd shot him through the heart.

After my PS3 freezing on me during my 2nd game of multiplayer, I had no choice. Thankfully no problems so far.

I sort of had the opposite experience in GW2 where I felt I needed to grind more... which is probably why NW is currently more appealing. I think part of it though is that I participate in more PvP battle sin NW which tend to give you a nice XP boost on top of story progression (which aside from Dungeons, I generally

I feel the same way about MMORPGs and the Guild Wars series. Personally, I found Neverwinter to be even more streamlined than GW2 was. I'd say check it out... it's free!

I'm enjoying it a lot too, currently a Lv 44 TR. I hadn't played an MMO since Guild Wars 2 (which I stopped playing half way due to other games), but Neverwinter has grabbed my interest and keeps me coming back. The gateway page to check the auction house and manage the professions has been a great time waster for

Input Two costs extra.

the 10/3 is my result in MB, not Mbps which most carriers advertise as (probably because it sounds better when the values are bigger). My service is 75/25 if you're going by VZ Fios' pricing models.

Yeah, I don't know why as I did the test in MB, but on my screen the image posting to Kotaku is showing my results in Mbps rather than in MB. So I'm seeing 78.30Mbps down and 24.50Mbps up rather than what I wrote below the image.

Verizon FIOS out of NYC
In MB it's about 10MB Down and 3MB up.
