Pretty much the perfect example of a JRPG to get people into JRPG's. Worked for me.

It's still around, you just have to play the right games.
That's what Kinja does man, it's tearing us apart! whatshisfacefromthatcrappymovie.avi
Suikoden II is like Jason's favorite game ever, so yeah, I figured he'd name drop the series.
Oops, I was thinking of 7th Dragon on DS from the creator of Phantasy Star.
Yeah, I have no clue where this sluggish comment comes from hopefully he elaborates further.
Yes, yes there very much is...
Black/White aren't sluggish in the least bit, and Pokemon has always been designed with newcomers in mind. The games are far faster paced than say FFVII. I don't see it as any less sluggish then Dragon Quest.
IV was mine, probably 'cause it was my first.
Yeah, if you know Japanese...
Chrono Trigger, Dragon Quest IX, and Pokemon make better first-RPG's than FFVII. Hell, I'm adamant that starting with FFVII will turn people off of the genre. That game doesn't hold up at all.
This or the chrome fix, either way I want something to win that makes the guys in charge take notice instead of ignoring the community.
Exactly, finally getting that house with a different character defeats the purpose. The scripting in that quest is so whack, I knew where I "messed up" though. Of course, I can't fix it though. Also, if you're on PC and can't getting it to work, there's no hope for me on 360...
Holy fuck! Sign me up! That'll increase ad revenue!
#COTW not that they give a damn.
Depends on how much fun was had in those 15 hours...
They tried fixing Blood on the Ice once? Ugh, it's messed up in my game too. I want the Windhelm house, not to use, but to have. I feel so incomplete...
Hey, this guys! At least this stuff on Steam goes on sale eventually, but yeah, the base prices need to go down after awhile.
It's bigger than Knights of the Nine and I liked the Fallout DLC's more than that (Barring the ones I haven't played Mothership Zeta, Old World Blues, and Lonesome Road). I payed double the price of Point Lookout for this and got way less content and nowhere near as good of an experience.
I've been playing Dawnguard at my own pace and feel the same way as Jason. The Soul Cain in particular is really bad especially when you try doing everything there is to offer. Personally, I think the game would be even worse as a Dawnguard. The Dawnguard to me seem like just another warrior group like all the other…
