No, I am a good driver, better than most of the zombies out there. A little speeding is fine. 55 is dead slow on an open highway. 100 over? Yes that is dangerous.

15 to 20 over

People breaking isolation orders, caring for the vulnerable in the community, stopping violent and gun crime, street racers and stunting on public roads, etc. Lots more pressing concerns than a guy going a tad fast on a wide open empty road. Most speed limits are draconian and laid down I  the 1960s anyways.

I mostly agree for street racers and extreme speeders, but speeding a little on wide open roads doesnt hurt anybody. Leave the minor speeding alone, there is a lot more pressing concerns right now.

Higher seating position is a lie. You are not sitting any higher than any of the other drivers in one of these things, only sitting higher than the one guy in the Miata. So you are sitting roughly at the level of all the other drivers, just sitting more upright.

Snowflake? Hah that is a good one. I am a driving enthusiast, that is my priority. This class of vehicle is the anti-driving enthusiast.

Something that small does NOT need to be a damn crossover. #SUVALLTHETHINGS really is jumping the shark with giving subcompact city cars the “CUV” treatment. Why? Just buy the damn car!

You should watch the Carmudgeoun Show on YT, especially the Meet Your Heroes episode. It has a perfect rationale as to why even though an auto is faster, more refined, more efficient...it is the WRONG transmission to have in a sports car, especially a small one like a hot hatch, precisely BECAUSE it is better.

Criminals running away from the cops are dangerous, and need to stop.

Yes but sports cars and convertibles dont guzzle gas every day, as they usually are summer or toy cars, and take up massive amounts of space in a parking lot. Again, use your truck for truck stuff, awesome. But the vast majority of people I see in my community have untouched tongues, and beds cleaner than the average

I do know what they do with these trucks, they are my neighbors. We talk.

As do I. However, I feel that too many people are buying trucks that do not have to. Urban cowboys, mall crawler Denalis, the lot. Yes, these vehicles can do it all, but they are gigantic and use a lot of gas in the process. Take up space and resources. Hey, if you regularly need your truck to do truck stuff, awesome,

You can argue that the sky is not blue, does not change the fact that it is.

Then why are you buying a 300hp hot hatch to commute? I understand space constraints, but affording more than one car is easy if both cars are cheap enough. Both my summer car and daily are manuals, and I commute every day in both, and both I bought for under $10K. One car in the garage, one in the driveway. Can be

That is a tradeoff that I will not take any day. Hot hatches and sports cars are best enjoyed with a manual. That is a fact. Automatics, no matter how good, just dull the experience of driving them...and if that is not your priority, then why the hell are you buying a 300hp hot hatch in the first place?

Yes it comes with easy mode. You SHOULD NOT order it as such. Hot hatches, and especially small cars, are best enjoyed with a manual transmission. To put an auto in it is just shooting the car in the ankles.

I prefer a roof over my head. Gimme a sunroof and I am all good. Dont like open top cars.

Way to much for the wrong Porsche.

Putting it in a crossover. Really. Mazda, just no. Why make a weird engine at all and then put it in a pathetic mall crawler.

Murica, f yeah. Get rid of all cars, and when you tune anything from the factory, it is a damn truck that doesnt need it. The automotive landscape in North America sure is bleak.
