Get the QP with the automatic after 2007. Then you are golden and dont have to worry about anything. Reliable as can be for a FIC. Same goes for the 4200 coupe, just get the manual.

I badly want one of these, with a manual. The electrical problems that plague them, however, makes me nervous (and I am not easily scared, I own a 90s Alfa Romeo). The 4200, with the worse tail lights, is a lot more reliable. But those lights...
HOAs are a plague and I will never, ever live in a community that has one.
So they will fix the head surgeon’s car for free. Gee, thanks Aston. No hard working nurse or even Emerg. doctor drives an Aston. Nice try at a PR prop, and I am sure the head surgeon and CEO of the hospitals appreciate the gesture, but how about you offer to fix all nurses’ cars for free? Or did I misunderstand the…
Not offering manuals in Minis is dooming the company to irrelevancy. You need to have very specific needs to consider a Mini, and manual transmission throughout their line was the major one I considered when I got my JCW.
I do. An 04. It is my daily/winter car. Love it and it was the only one in all of Canada for sale when I was looking. Also have a 97 Alfa Romeo 155 2.5 V6, that thing is so rare I have yet to know of another person in North America who has one. Both are manual, and both I will be keeping for a long, long time.
It would have been on my radar, yes it would. As would the Giulia, but it also doesnt come with a 3 pedal setup. So for now, my manual Lexus and old Alfa sport sedans will keep me happy.
I agree, which is why I drive an old Alfa. Drives fantastic, and manual was the ONLY transmission option. Giulia is nice, but no 3 pedal setup is a deal breaker.
bless you for keeping the 3 pedal faith. We lot are getting fewer and fewer...
Yep, my sport sedans have manuals. No thanks Audi, not getting my money.
The Alfa, like the Mig25 for aviation, was a catalyst design that forced the NATO powers to take drastic action to counter it. Really a Dreadnaught situation. Because of the Alfa, the Spearfish and ADCAP torpedoes were rushed into production...otherwise the little sub could outrun and out-dive the US and Brit…
Ugh...all that front fake venting. Pathetic. This is an Audi S4, not a base Accent. No excuse.
cool
A V6 can work, if you make it make the power and sound good. I believe Aston can do both.
Exactly. The Metro turbo V6 in the XJ220 is a monster, delivered the power and torque where the V12 could not (without being basically a Le Mans engine). V6 is fine as long as it performs and sounds good. The Jag one did both.
You guys need to leave NY. I do not know of a more anti-car city, other than say in Europe like Oxford or Copenhagen. Stories about road closures, street parking, and subways are not what we come to this website for.
Those Corvettes, like $14,995 Versas etc. are ONLY for marketing purposes. Nobody orders them at the dealer level, they basically do not exist. But the number looks great in reviews, forum arguments, and commercials.
Othere than looks, what is sport about this thing? A fuel sipper and CVT and a hybrid. That is not sport or youthful at all. Also the sedan market has a lot of life in it, it is just all the sheeple are buying the lowest common denominator body shape...CUVs.
I have driven in Australia where there are traffic circles much bigger, have more lanes, and sometimes looped together like a chain. Never have I ever felt unsafe or unsure what was going on in the traffic circle. If you even slow down unnecessarily in an Oz traffic circle, you get honked at. So efficient.
That truck didnt leave the scene of the accident, he was getting the hell out of it after a very minor fender bump so he could yell at the Lexus driver on the side of the road...it was the Lexus that left the scene and drove THE WRONG WAY AROUND A TRAFFIC CIRCLE.
