Why wouldn’t it be a manual? That is what everyone buying it would want. To make it an automatic would be beyond stupid.

Not that great to drive!? Says who? Jeremy Clarkson loved it. As did Jason Cammisa. Jason said it was the perfect drive.
Oh I have seen that too, no name brand tires are oftentimes horrible. I was not advocating for them, but for rather good name brand tires that are different from OEM. Even within the same brand you can see improvements. But YMMV and it depends on what you are looking for.
OK, I see your point...and in some cases that is correct. Specific tires made to work with a certain chassis (Ferrari, Aston Martin do this for example). However, in the vast majority of tires I see from my suppliers and at my shop, this is just not so. Expensive tires but with no advantage over cheaper consumer grade…
Putting stock tires back on your car is very stupid. The manufacturer gets a discount to put them on in the factory, but you get no such discount to replace them. I see this every day at my shop. Compared to ones you can get yourself from TireRack, I have found that OEM tires are both garbage AND expensive.
Yes, you are right. And everyone here who actually drives their vehicles largely agrees with you. But that won’t stop marketing departments from putting eye-catching rims on vehicles that are way too big, and wont stop people from wanting those 22s on their truck.
Ok so it starts at 55k. Because to get an SUV without AWD is like getting an automatic Miata.
Heh yeah that is me. I am a loud supporter of my car, I love it.
The power adds to fun and capability such as passing ability and merging with confidence on the highway. A big fat CUV like the Atlas Sport? Nothing. And the obsession with these compromise machines is ruining the automotive landscape. Ruining it.
Thank you for speaking the truth about the insanity that is the current automotive landscape. Even some enthusiasts I know have fallen I’ll to it. I will never understand. You dont need a giant 3 row SUV for you and your wife and kid.
It wont. Americans are addicted to big bulky CUVs and SUVs. They are not looking back and it is a very sad situation.
They are extremely rare, and need to be imported as they were never sold in North America. I got mine 8 years ago for $13k CAD. Hagerty re-evaluated the car last fall, and said it was worth $30k CAD due to its rarity and connection with touring car racing. These are very rare to start with, and even rarer with the…
It is a 2.5 V6 Zender Ltd. A limited edition car for the Japanese market (still LHD though). It was in perfect shape so had to get it.
But will they make it?
Sure, make the GTAm straight cut dog gear sequential. That makes sense.
What? Been an Alfa guy for 30 years. We like our sport sedans to have manuals. Just want the option.
Look at Alfa’s back catalogue of their GTA and other hot versions. They were equally bonkers sometimes.
I have a 1997 155 V6. It is magical to drive. Never went wrong. I would get a new Giulia if they sold it in a manual in North America. They don’t, so they don’t get my money.
It is like the Project 8 with the rear seat delete option. You know, the one that set the ‘Ring record. That car is what this Alfa is gunning for.
