Yes, useless tech that does not add to my driving experience is indeed bad.

I have a future sensing transmission too. It is called heel and toe downshifting.
I am glad it is a performer and GM seemed to get it mostly right. Hope it sells very well.
Bring back Group C. Fixed.
I was being facetious, but you get my point. Pushing a button as you enter a corner is not the same as the mechanics needed to heel and toe a manual car. You are turning the steering wheel, and that is it. Manual is more engaging, you are more at one with the car.
I don’t care how fast it is, I would be embarrassed to drive one of these. God is it ugly...
No...it wont. Because I am happy with my driving experience. The C8 may be faster than my 3-pedal machine, but I don’t care because I am having more fun and actually driving my car.
How is the manual tran....oh wait.
Thank you for saying “you cant argue with physics.” No substitute for snow tires. No exception if you drive through snow.
I had an R53 JCW for a year. It was always broken.
They do for some models, like the 228hp Cooper S hardtop, but any of the more powerful models, and the GP, are automatic only.
Never street park your car. This is what can happen. Poor Camaro.
There is no point, but that doesnt stop Mini from chasing sales (and failing) by desperately trying to appeal to the masses with their niche car.
RWD? No. Why? Because it is a hot hatch, the original was FWD, and all the good hot hatches are FWD. RWD is not the best option here.
That is an original Mini indeed being compared to a SUV (countryman). So....yeah?
R53 JCW is the best value. They can be had for very very cheap, and are just as unreliable as all the others.
Agreed. Needs to be manual and lighter.
Didnt read the rest of the review after I saw it was automatic. This is such a far cry from what made the R53 JCW so fun.
Nope. It is ugly and was most certainly drifted within an inch of its life for most of its miles.
YES. Sports cars get manuals, and it DOES NOT MATTER if the automatic is microseconds faster. That is not the point, which seems to confound many. The whole point about sports cars is the engagement you get while driving, and that is best experienced with a manual. END.
