Love Saab, but good luck getting parts on that rushed 9-5. Full of problems and parts are non-existent.
THIS. It ticks all the boxes.
Horrible suggestions. Wow.
No, im not trolling at all. I stand by my original statement: no CUV deserves a manual. Ever. Because a manual is an enthusiast transmission, and the CUV is the anti-enthusiast machine.
I agree with you. Most of today’s vehicles are numb and devoid of character. That includes CUVs and most sedans, even some sporty ones. That is why I drive a RAD Alfa Romeo 155 V6 as my summer car and my daily is an R53 Mini JCW. Old cars are just better if you are looking for steering feel and character. That is why…
OK. So the S6 has a bit of numb steering. It still is better than any CUV dynamically. Also looks heaps better.
I have also driven an S6. With a V10. It is not for old people at all. Sure the numbers may be close for the Macan GTS, but it doesn’t have to fight against physics to be fast around twisties, the Macan does.
it is not uncompromising, CUVs are anti enthusiast machines. End.
Driving enthusiast with a family? Buy a sport wagon. V70R. Saab TurboX. CTS-V. Audi S4/S6. Subaru Legacy GT. Some came in manual. True enthusiasts buy used anyways.
NONE. EVER.
I will be glad when the pointless Supra articles die off. It was released, it is a great car but by no means any classic, and soon will be largely forgotten.
Get a Lexus then. You don’t buy a TTV10 and expect it to be a pillar of reliability. I drive an Alfa Romeo and a Mini, this TTV10 doesn’t scare me.
This is ugly and looks like a Kia and a Honda. Audi design since 2008 has been complete garbage.
I agree. A long downhill fall Audi has been through since their design high in the mid 2000s.
That is what I was thinking, happened to my Mini - tiny cracks in the ABS ring in the hub was throwing off the sensor at highway speeds, and then all was fine at slower speeds.
This is not uncommon for Minis, R56 or newer I am guessing? Perhaps being burned up by the turbo?
Strangest for me is check engine light for camshaft position sensor, despite replacing it twice. Related to that is a P2096 CEL for intake or exhaust leak, despite not finding either. Also, tire pressure sensor will not reset, no matter what I do or replace. It is a Mini, so go figure. Everything is in various stages…
Every single “sporty” CUV. They all need to die in a fire.
She is under covers during the winter. Long hibernation only interrupted for maintenance work. No detailing takes place until spring, and I have never tried. Everything works better on an Italian car when the temperatures are up, so I try not to touch it unless necessary in the winter.
