See? It is not all about money. Sometimes doing the right thing by enthusiasts is the right thing to do.

All of that means nothing when nobody wants one. It has absolutely zero sex appeal. No kids will put its poster on the wall. It looks like crap and sounds like crap and all that tech means nothing to the people who actually buy one.

That was not the point. I was not commenting on the show itself, but the rabid fanbase Porsche has in the community right now. Look at values of...any used Porsche. They are insane. Media fawn over a new 911 model that has...something different but I cannot fathom what it is. Corvette or just about any other brand

Thank you. Best reply yet. Hat tip to you sir.

Perhaps, but I have rarely been called dumb. How about you stop being so rude and explain the intricacies to me then. Thanks.

OK, no. I never said I dislike Porsche. They are perfectly fine and great cars to drive. I just am not fangirling all over them like many others seem to. Wanted to know what was up with the brand that makes people do that on such a widespread scale.

I kinda get it in a way, I am a huge Alfa Romeo fan. So much so, that I actually own one. Would not trade it for the world. Guess it is like art...different people like different stuff. Just never got the widespread obsession with Porsche.

Why is it stupid? I genuinely want to know what makes Porsche so worthy of the insane devotion people have to it.

As someone who does not really care about Porsche except for some select Le Mans racers....meh??? I really do not get the cult-like obsession the car community has about Porsche. I have driven one, yes it was great but not life changing.

10000000000000000000000000% AGREED.

As an Alfa owner and part of a number of Italian car clubs, that is just wrong. Many of us know how to turn a wrench...we have to or we would be at the shop every day haha.

No, it is typical for Alfa in my experience. Tough mechanicals, but weak electrics. Mine has not gone wrong and it is 22 years old...except that sensors like to die. Oh well.

My 22 year old Alfa is amazing to drive. Addictive. Yes, it has some wonky sensors...but those are just quirks that do not get in the way of its amazing drive. Doesnt spend any time in the shop.

THIS IS NOT GOOD.

Like I said...I have sat in one. It is perfectly fine and you feel really nice in it. Have you been in one? Or just being a lemming and jumping on the hate train because some auto journos hated on the interior?

I have sat in one. It is fine. Stop caring about the interior and start caring about the drivetrain, and exterior styling, and the sound...you know...THE CRAP YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO CARE ABOUT IN A SPORTS CAR.

I would agree if the car had a better engine...I assume you are talking about muscle cars and their lesser V6 models.

No redemption for this thing. Or the HHR.

broken timing belt? On a Busso? That is one neglectful owner. They are not known to go.

You can buy any of those cars. Import them. And sure the jag is turbo...
