Oh we will see them again...but with a raised ride height and some body cladding. Because people are stupid and buy stupid things because they are told to do so by stupid marketing.

you guys should move from Manhattan. It is a dense city that is not friendly to cars or car culture really at all. Stories about subway construction or spotting street parked cars are kinda not relevant to, what I am guessing, most of your readers.
Doesn’t seem like it.
at the on at dusk thing: I do not know how that is not law yet. Backup cameras are law here. But a car can still drive without lights on at night because the Honda or Toyota (it is ALWAYS one of the two) driver either has no lights on at all...or full brights.
how do they still suck when, oncoming, they seem to be harnessing the energy of a collapsing star? They are beyond bright and a danger to oncoming drivers...and they STILL suck?
that is an amazing feat, but I imagine it would be undrivable on today’s roads - its power curve will be more like a ski jump with all the power at the top end with how wild a cam it probably is running.
Ugh. I just do not care anymore. Toyota will not sell any of these because they used up all the hype 5 years ago.
No, it is because of internet stat wars and “every generation needs to have bigger shoulder and ankle room” than the previous generation AND all the competitors...because you know that is a factor in the purchasing decision...smh. Modern tech can make a subcompact CUV safer than a full size sedan of 10 years ago, or a…
That in itself is sad. With all the technology and advanced materials...why do cars have to be so huge?
Opel had some pretty crazy touring cars from the era too...
it is bigger than an E39. It is bigger than a 2000 full size German executive car.
It does not, or one would be in my driveway right frickin now.
How much do I value a manual transmission?
I do. The thing is huge. It doesn’t have to be. Roads are not getting bigger, parking spaces are not getting bigger, garages...etc. The car is bloated. It could easily shrink by 15% in its puffiness and still be the same size class.
Who cares. Nobody will buy this, because everyone buys CUVs and also nobody can afford $70k for a toy with a massive recession on the horizon.
No. It is abhorrent. Took the previous car and crapped all over it.
That should be a no brainer.
Sure. For grownups by you meaning old people with bad backs and grandkids on the weekends? Only reason I can see buying a slightly lifted, fatter hatchback in the first place over a proper car.
Agreed. As none of the current Audis can be had with a manual anymore.
Good God that Infiniti will not age well. Look so melted and overstyled.
